twilight fanfic: Edward, My Edward

explainations aren't so easy

After serving my day of solitude I apologized to everyone (except jasper) and every thing was back too normal. we woke up in the morning to rain. not uncommon here and forks. which unfortunately means I had too go to school and deal with none other than Edward the new kid from Arizona. Man I wish he could have just stayed there and live a normal life peacefully. I hunted a few hours before school, even though I wasnt particularly hungry I decided I might as well take precautions. when I got to school I was almost to the door when I heard him.

"hey" he said in a faint shy voice. I was tempted to run or pretend I hadnt heard but I oddly felt compelled to answer him even though my throat, even though I just fed all I could hold, felt so dry that it was on fire.

"ummm hello I hadnt a chance to introduce myself yesterday my name is Bella, Bella Cullen" he seemed to brighten up, as though the fact I had talked to him was enough to brighten his whole day.

"oh wow your talking to me now" he said putting a bit of fake anger in his tone though it was hard to cover up how happy he was

"I-im sorry I just," I gave up trying to give a good answer "it was a bad day for me"

"oh. okay" his face relaxed as if he had expected me to say how I had hated him. through the day I talked to Edward, I learned why he had cl.e here since I couldnt read his mind. He was a nice boy, why do I have to ruin his life?
