"Okay kids! Listen up! We've got a lot to do today! So-  HEY! YOU WITH THE AFRO! WHADYA THINK YOU'RE DOING!?" The guy in question looked up in shock.

"What? Who? Me!?" I sighed in frustration.

"Yea, you, Curly! What are you doing!? Wait, how the hell did you even get up there!?" The entire class laughed as he gaped, then fell a good five feet. I gasped and ran over. The class made way for me, and before I got to him I could see him sprawled out on the sand on top of someone else. I stood over them and rolled my eyes, hands on my hips.

"What were you thinking!? You're lucky you don't have serious injury, and that you're friend here cushioned your fall!" Curly gave a slight moan, causing everyone to laugh. "At least, no injuries that I know of," I muttered, helping him up. By now, someone had called over a nurse, so I brought the guy over to her.

"He fell a good five feet from his friend's shoulders. I'm sure he'll be fine after some ice, but I don't want to risk anything." She nodded and helped him hobble away to the small first-aid hut a few yards down the beach. I turned, fuming, to his now smirking friend.

"What the hell is wrong with you!? He could've been badly injured! And I wouldn't be surprised if you yourself are injured, what with him landing on top of you and squishing you like he did! What were you thinking!? And give me that pomegranate! That's not yours to have!" The young man just stared at me, smirking, while passing over the pomegranate he had picked up when his friend had fallen. A man beside him, wearing a crazy mohawk, rolled his eyes.

"That's the thing, miss. He wasn't thinking. He just wanted that stupid pomegranate," the mohawk guy muttered. The entire class, even the idiot himself, laughed. I rolled my eyes, trying hard not to give in to the chuckles threatening to burst out of my lungs. The man who had just spoken high-fived another man to his right who appeared much younger than his other three friends.

"Well, you better start thinking, or else I'll have to ask you to sit out for a bit, Mr- ?" I trailed off, suddenly noticing his bright blue eyes that looked so familiar.

"Ramsay, miss. Joshua Ramsay. But you can call me Josh."
