Jocel's Pov
What am I doing here? I sigh, looking at the masterminds carrying out their plan: riding a yacht during summer vacation. We had arrived not too long ago at the sea border. Ace had hired a sailor since none of us knew how to operate a yacht. The sailing was pretty smooth. Everybody already scattered throughout the place based on their best interest.
Ace kept introducing the interior even though no one asked, while jinjo was busy telling him to shut up. They were both responsible for fixing most of the luggage. Bianca excitedly hogged all the wine when she saw the mini bar. Mikaela started digging in through the chips and reading her wattpad book. Knowing ashley, she must have gotten through one of the rooms and already slept.
I, on the other hand, is trying my best to hold back the thoughts of the vast ocean being outside because clearly there is no way I can pretend we're not surrounded by it. It's already been the third time since the thought went across my mind.
I might actually get seasick for the fourth one. I lightly graze my fingers against my lips before it formed into a thin line. Hopefully, not. Luckily, my oh-so-good friends already prepared my medicine for such scenarios.
I catch sight of ace gesturing me to ask if I'm okay. I returned his kind act with a smile. Although, I was feeling quite the opposite. I don't know if I should be grateful or upset, but I'm beginning to regret what happened an hour ago.
Ding dong~
"I'm coming!" I jog through the stairs to get to the door. "Who is it?" I open to see my mischievous group who looked at me with anticipation. "What's the occasion..?" I asked, oblivious to their arrival.
"We're taking you out!" Bianca gleefully announced.
I stared at her with suspicion. It was never a good omen whenever bianca pops up with an idea. Last time she invited us out, we ended up in the police station. I nodded reluctantly. "....Where are we going?"
Mikaela playfully giggled. "You'll soon find out."
"Oh, and don't worry about your mom. We already asked for her permission and she already agreed." Ashley added.
That isn't too hard to believe. Mom likes it whenever they ask me out. She thinks I'm changing them for good. To think some would already get hysterical for having their child hang out with delinquents. I guess mom is pretty unique in that aspect.
I invite them in while i went upstairs to change. I wore something casual since i expect that it'll be just us hanging around the pub or the usual place. This day wasn't planned so we must be going to somewhere not new.
Nothing should go wrong.
Six hours later-
"Ace! Where are the life vests?!" Ashley sternly asked. It only added to the tension all of us were undergoing through that very moment. The yacht was moving up and down amidst the angry waters. I only waked up to see all of us gathered in the living room.
