Ashura's Incarnation Arc - Chapter 4: Parasite VS T-Rex

In front of us stood a tyrannosaurus rex, towering at a height of 8 meters. Below us, its young fed on the individuals that once accompanied us.

It resembled a mother T-Rex holding a carriage in its mouth, feeding the human cereal to its offspring.

Thankfully, the front of its head was a blind spot, so it hadn't spotted us yet. So, this earth dragon she spoke of is a T-Rex? Am I not in a fantasy world but a Jurassic one then?

「Asura, let's sneak out of here while it doesn't see us.」

"Y-Yes..."

I don't trust this girl one bit in a life-threatening situation like this. Maybe I should take control of her body for now.

「Asura, I'll take over, okay?」

"T-Take what over?"

「I'll take over your body for now to get us out of here. You don't have any techniques for stealth, do you?」

As a former military servant, I know quite a lot about reconnaissance or stealth since that's where I specialized.

After hearing her response, I activated the skill [Mind Invasion].

The sensation I felt was something I've never experienced before. It felt like my whole being got jolted forwards. Asura closed her eyes, but I reopened them once I gained control.

I feel so much better now. I can control her body. I really feel it.

I'm currently a girl. It doesn't feel like there's a difference, but to be honest, it's like my lower part tickles... Being a woman feels extremely surreal.

Well, it's a good thing her breasts haven't developed all that much yet, or it'd be hard to deal with as a full-grown man.

I moved her legs just like I would whenever I woke up from sleep back in the previous world, by flinging them around. Her flexibility is no match for mine in the previous world though.

Shit, there's not much time. Studying her body can come later, right now, I must escape this deadly duo.

Back in my world, I used mountain climbing as another training method to improve my joints and legs for the sake of martial arts. Naturally, climbing down something like this upside-down cage is no big deal.

I used my 22 years of experience, and I descended the cage carefully, eventually landing smoothly on the ground.

I raised my head for a simple look.

It really is a T-Rex.

"Huh..?"

The baby T-Rex and I, our eyes met. The place I climbed down from is not its blind spot but where its sight can perfectly lock onto.

Things went silent, and I refused to move an inch. I heard in Jurassic Park that T-Rexes have poor eyesight, so they're instead sensitive to anything that moves. Well, atleast that's what my son and I believe we learned in the movie.

I stood as still as a statue at this point, but the young T-Rex was still staring at me. Then eventually, it gave off a strange cry, and its mother followed it with its own.

Something was reverberating through the core of my being, fear was flooding in.

I heard of something like this before. In horror movies, there exists such sounds that can control the emotions of the listeners. And this creature, in particular, is releasing it right now.
