After what felt like several days, the two were beyond exhausted and very hungry. Seokjin insisted they visited a random timeline to eat and rest. And shower. Time in this realm stops and so the two haven't aged one bit but they might as well have been in there for years. They planned to find out the main reason Yoongi and Jungkook's relationship fell but there was no door to show what really happened, it was as if it never existed. Erased.
Seokjin remembered the weird glass artifact in his bag. While Hoseok was opening up random doors, Seokjin followed their tail and slowly reached for the flower. He took a peek at it and just stared as it glistened and refracted all present light. He held it tight but not so much that it could shatter.
Seokjin kept staring at it until he saw a faint picture of a face. Then two. They weren't really clear but he could tell by their eyes. It's the two boys they had been searching for. He stopped walking and stared at it intensely until he felt a little tug towards a direction. It became stronger and stronger until he felt like he was being pulled by it. The flower was eager to go somewhere so he had to follow it.
By now, Hoseok was nowhere to be seen but Seokjin's curiosity couldn't get him to stop and think about what he's doing. The tugging stopped in front of a door numbered 301 and the direction turned towards the door. Bracing himself, Seokjin entered and saw himself in a barren parking lot with only a few cars strewn about. From behind a van, he sneakily looked around and observed the two figures standing in front of each other. He tried his best to listen in on their conversation but could only recognize the voice of the shorter person. It was what Jungkook sounded like when he was still fourteen years old. He moved closer and the conversation became clearer. He could hear the taller, who he had confirmed to be Yoongi, scowling at the younger, "I did not fucking kill your mom! I'm not heartless. Stop assuming shit on me just because you don't like me," Jungkook retorted back, "Exactly what a murderer would say. You just told me about this whole thing now because you think that I was too young to understand."
Yoongi sighed and pinched his temple, "Okay... fine, I might've assassinated your mother, but it's my job! I get paid for this. Both you and Taehyung rely on me to pay for your living expenses. It's either you die or your mother dies. It's not my fucking fault if my target is the mother of such an inconsiderate asshole like yourself," he shouted at him. Jungkook was left speechless before he spoke again, this time his voice was more intense, "Mark my words. I will bring hell to your life and I'll make sure your descendants will be cursed until no one remembers your name when you die. Your home and everything you love will be reduced to ashes," Yoongi only scoffed at him, "You think you scare me?" he swiftly pulled out a revolver from his gun belt and pointed it at Jungkook's forehead, "I can kill you right now and I bet you're gonna start crying." Instead of surrendering, the younger only inched closer until the barrel was touching his forehead, "Do it. Kill me. See what'll happen, if you're so curious," the older was inches away from pulling the trigger until he backed off and shot at the ground out of frustration. The younger didn't even flinch at that sudden move. The two stared at each other for a whole five minutes before Yoongi walked off the other way and left Jungkook alone in the car park.
Seokjin started to walk back to where he came from until he could see Jungkook staring right at him from afar. He stood still before walking over to him in a very threatening manner. "Why should I be threatened, he's litteraly fourteen years old," but he kept walking towards him. Seokjin stood up and cleared his throat, he made himself known, "Hey, Kook! Why are you out here alone?" he asked, trying to hide his suspicions. "You heard everything, didn't you?" The older hesitated to answer and gulped before blurting out, "Heard what?"
There was a moment of silence before Jungkook spoke up again, "Nothing, just forget it," he was gullible enough to let the conversation slide. "So, why are you out here by yourself?" the older asked. The younger replied, tilting his head to the side like a puppy, "I could ask you the same thing." Seokjin swung his long hair back before clicking his tounge, "Ah, well... I was walking down from the hair salon and... uhh," Seokjin held his nervous tone for a whole ten seconds before he just dipped. He turned back towards the door and ran for it."Hey, where are you-" The younger exclaimed. Jungkook caught up behind him and held on to his arm and so he stuck to him all the way to the other side of the door he came from. The two slammed against the wall out of momentum. Seokjin rubbed the back of his head where he hit against the floor when he fell. Jungkook only hovered on top of him before he looked around in confusion and asked out, "Where... are we?" He sat back as Seokjin got up and tidied up his clothes, "That's only one of the many times I got slammed into the wall in my life." Jungkook looked around, feeling lost before repeating his question again to the older, "Where are we?"
The place to him felt familiarly unfamiliar, like he had dreamed about it or have felt the time shifting aura of it elsewhere. It made him feel weird, "We're in a time... hotel? I don't even know myself," Seokjin attempted to explain but lost his words. Jungkook rubbed the back of his head, feeling a bit queasy. He sat back down and his eyes fixed onto something shiny in Seokjin's bag. The older was distracted trying to find something or someone so he snuck his hand in and tried to reach for it. Just with a slight brush of his hand, his mind played memories in his head. Memories of his friends he didn't even know about. They were like memories from the future.Jungkook let go of it and looked down, feeling even more dizzy but held it. He stood back up and turned to the older. He looked back at him like he didn't exist for a second then chuckled, "Well, I don't think you're supposed to be the Jungkook I was looking for. I mean, I need the Jungkook that remembers everything from start to finish so we can 'get to work', so to speak." The younger hummed before closing his eyes and saying aloud, "Do you mean the Jungkook that crashed into a truck, wakes up from a coma, whose brother got killed by some psycho who was a bit too attached to some cute boy, fought Yoongi and died and got reincarnated as that cute boy named Jimin?" Seokjin hesitated a bit, shocked at how he could remember those even though this was a good four years before all of that happened, "Well, yeah... How did you--" "I touched whatever this is and now I remember stuff from the future, which is cool." He pulled out the glass flower and paraded it in front of him. The faint image of Yoongi and Jungkook were now gone and was replaced with Taehyung instead.
Seokjin took a hold of it and examined it as Jungkook held his head on his shoulder, tip-toeing to get on his level and watched him in silence. Out of nowhere, Hoseok ran up from behind and shouted in complaint, "Where the hell were you!? You left me alone and I got scared!" The older almost dropped the flower, potentially shattering it to pieces and snarled back, "Dude! Could've atleast shouted from afar." Hoseok mumbled an apology before getting close and watching him watch the flower, "What're we doing exactly?"
"We're bringing everyone back together..."
