Hey guys! Rebecca Senpai here. So I wrote this throughout the school day and thought I should share it with you guys! Hope you like it!

I woke up to my alarm blaring and I groaned. Then I smiled and remembered what today was.

Mine and Romano's 8th anniversary of our wedding.

I got up and got ready then went into town.

I first went to the flower shop and got some roses. Roma always said that my scent reminded him of roses.

Then I went to the market and bought the things I needed to make dinner.

Italy texted me asking me if I was okay. I told him I was fine, just busy.

After that I went back home and changed into a black dress, grabbed the roses, and walked back to my car and got in it.

On the way to my destination, the song me and Romano danced to at our wedding, You are my sunshine, came on the radio.

I smiled sadly and changed the station to a random pop song.

I arrived at where I was supposed to be and got out, taking the roses with me and started walking.

I've been here a million times so I knew exactly where to go.

I walked up to him and kneeled in front of him.

"Happy Anniversary Romano." I said while placing the roses on his grave.

I started crying as I recalled what happened.

I was sitting in my favorite chair, curled up with a book when Italy called me.

"Hey Italy!" I said.

"Ciao......." he said in a sad tone.

"What's wrong Italy?" I asked the usually happy Italian.

"It's Romano........" As soon as he said that my heart stopped.

I knew Romano was involved with the mafia so I was already worried.

"W-What do you mean Italy?"

"I'm so sorry (y/n)........he's.......he's dead." Once I heard that I dropped the phone and fell to my knees.

This overwhelming sense of sadness took over me as I started crying.

He was my everything. My love. My soul mate.

And now he's gone.

Later on I found out he was shot because a deal went wrong. He died an hour later from blood loss and there was no way for the doctors to save him.

A few months later the police found they guy who shot him and he was sent to jail.

Me and Roma had been married for 5 years when he died and even though it was 3 years ago, I still visit him.

I'll never forget him.

I got up and walked back to my car while wiping away my tears. As I walked there was only one thing on my mind.

You are my sunshine.
