I know ironic title
Heather POV
What is this noise, GOD! Oh, its my alarm. I hate mornings so, why didn't I make my business an online shop. Not my greatest decision. I think I'll get up in 10".........
SHÎT! I've overslept, it's 8:35. I have to meet important investors. I'm a fashion designer and I'm going to look like SHÎT!...... Wait what I'm I worried for, many fashion designers make gorgeous and inventive designs and dress bad. Ex. Michael Kors, Betsey Johnson, and Yea, I could act like one of the greats for a day.
I take a mini shower, put on some skinny jeans, a basic white linen shirt and put on my 3.1 Phillip Lim booties. Even though I overslept I still look like çrap
I've been deprived of it so I grab some concealer and put it in my black Versace purse. I also put my messy crunchy hair in a low bun and exit my apartment.
I run to the elevator screaming for a man to hold it. Of course, he thoughtfully declines. After that I believe my exact words were "FŮCK OFF, MAN!" Wow... What its like living in New York ladies and gentlemen.
By the time I got to the first floor it was 8:45. I immediately called my assistant
"Hi, Ms. " Olivia says
"I need you to stall today's investors" I say in the process of trying to hail a
cab
"Excuse me Ms. Aniakor , your not here" She said a very worried, which wasn't reassuring my success
"Of course I'm here. I'm in the bathroom trying to take a shít I'm just so constipated!" I say irritated not having the time for her burst of acknowledgment.
"Um........"She said bemused and bewildered
"Look tell them I'm sick or my friend or a family member is very ill. Or that the boardroom is being setup or cleaned, something like that" I say while I enter a cab
"Okay, I'll try"
"Its not try!"
I give the cab driver the address of "Madox Inc." Since almost every 9-5 worker is already at work traffic's a breeze. I'll probably get to the meeting 5 minutes late. Thank GOD!!
Third Person
The cabdriver parks 2 blocks away from the building. Heather runs to the door and opens it. As she walks in she takes out her building I.D. from her purse and shows it to the security guard. She puts the I.D. back in her purse as she runs to the elevator. She presses the silver and red button to the elevator. Unluckily, the elevator comes rather slowly. As soon as the elevator doors open she sees her worst nightmare............the Monster
Heather just stood there in shock. The man just looked at her funnily because she was just standing there staring at him. He also did recognize her but being in a rush he shrugged it off and walked right passed her. She slowly walked into the elevator. She couldn't believe her eyes only because this is a world of 7.125 billion people and a city of 8 million so that makes the chances of her seeing him again pretty slim.
She pushes the button to the third floor.
Heather had it ingrained in her head that she would never have to see him again or at least he would be ugly and broke as SHÎT. She tries to shake it off. She can think about this right now or at least be able to fathom it.
She decides to think about how slow the elevator is going instead. Heather starts shaking her leg impatiently. She doesn't have time for this. The doors finally open and....
"What the fűcking hell! You scared me SHÎTLESS!" Heather says shocked to see Olivia right at the corner once she steps out the elevator.
"Sorry, Ms.—" Olivia gets cutoff
"Where are the investors? Are they in the boardroom?" Heather says as she looks around with a worried look on her face.
"The who?" Olivia sounds nervous
"THE INVESTORS! THE REASON WHY I RUSHED HERE LOOKING LIKE CRAP!" Every worker within a 10 ft vesinity of her pings with a jolt of shock and fear.
"Oh....yea"Olivia remembers"they left"
"THEY WHAT!" Heather says shocked and appalled
"Ms. Aniakor please calm down there coming back next week" Olivia says worried yet assertively
"Oh. Why didn't you just say that earlier? My bad, I haven't had my morning coffee. Which you should get me,but before you go what was your excuse?" Heather asks curiously. "I told them that your parents got into a serious car accident and okay I'll get you that coffee" Olivia walks swiftly to the elevator and presses the bottom floor button.
Heather turns around and walks to the receptionist. She gives her a light smile. That's the receptionists cue to give her mail to her. Heather otters a small thank you to her out of lips as she distractedly looks through her mail. Most of them are resumes for models and workers and the rest is just spam. As she walks through the side entrance of a big, blurry glass panel.
Heather gives a few niceties to her workers and quickly goes in her office. She would go over what the company has accomplished but is too tired to try and People Suck. After a minute of her moaning and groaning like a bear she finally got the courage to get up from slouching and open her laptop. The second she gets on the internet she sees 30 email notifications. Where's her coffee Heather wonders while she stares at her computer.
She contemplates on calling and yelling at Olivia but that would waste the time for her to be working. Heather starts to read her emails, it's the usual except for one. This email is from Zachariah Davis a.k.a. THE MONSTER. Heather doesn't even bother reading the email she swiftly gets up from her office chair and runs to her office door. She opens her door and speed-walks past her employees murmuring excuse mes to all off them. She almost knocks over a worker and a bundle of fabric on her way down.
Heather walks through the blurry glass tunnel to the front. She walks to the receptionists' desk and stands there with a fake smile. "Hi Cateriná, did a Zachariah Davis come here this morning?" Heather can't help but hold her breath. "Yes he came here at about 8:50". The second those words come out her mouth Heather begins to panic. "What did he come for?" "He came to advertise and I remember how much you hate that" "I'm impressed, Thanks!"Heather runs back to her office, sits down at her desk and finally reads the email.

To: Heather AniakorHello Ms. Aniakor . I am emailing you today because I have heard about your bussiness and its hefty growth. I have also recently come into information that you have no Marketing Team which I think is very great work so far on your part. It may be great work but as your business begins to grow you will have less time to be on that aspect of the business or (not to be in your social life) relax or have fun. A Marketing Team could really not only, make sure your rate of growth is steady but happens rapidly. My boss would like a meeting with you and than maybe take you as a client.
Please Call: 929-567-1314
Thank YouHeather REALLY HATES to admit this but he has a great point, if m tired now imagine a month from now. And she is kind of curious about his life. Heather decides to call.
