So far

This is the fourth group I've been with the past 2 months. The only reason I keep moving around is to keep my girlfriend Natalia safe, especially since she's the only person I have left. Three months ago, an outbreak occurred and unless you destroyed the brain, the dead would rise. We call the walkers. But I've also heard them called biters. The first month was the worst by far. We were out on a run to a Reams by my house with my parents. My dad Jason was a tall, strong, athletic African American man and my mom, Sandra was a slim, fast, loving lady with an aggressive side. I'm only sixteen. I'm pretty fit for my age. We score the jackpot on that run. No one had cleaned it out yet and we all had two bags. And inside the only walker was one munching on what seemed to be the only person in there since the outbreak and he had a bag half filled with weapons and ammunition. We killed the walker and took the guys stuff, filled our bags and lwft. When we got back, five walkers were there and we tried to kill them. But one was behind my dad and bit him on the shoulder. I watched the walker take him down and in tears I shot it in the head. We killed the others and went inside. We didn't think killing him was an option. I was out back with Natalia when there was a scream. When I got inside, my dad, now a walker, had killed every one except my mom. We had to kill him and make sure they didn't turn. A week later, mom died of what I classified as pneumonia. Although I'm sixteen, I go to a medical colledge, as well as high school. I was severely deppressed after that and started self harming. But Natalia helped me and I stopped . No we're with a group of people. A man named Rick, his son Carl ( I forgot to mention I'm bi and he was cute, a girl named Beth , and a bad ass dude named Daryl. I liked him cuz I had the same crossbow. We found a house to set up camp for the night maybe even longer.
