Red son sat on the roof as he watched the gang talking in the noodle shop, they were laughing , talking and just enjoying each others company.
Red grabbed their chest as they felt an ache in his heart sighing and looking away trying to regain her composure.
"Wow, you really miss your parents don't you? That's cute" macaque said as he came up behind red son and put a hand on his shoulder.
"No, I don't I'm fine." He mumbled as he hugged his knees tighter, his chest only hurting more as he stared at the happy Mk.
Macaque smirked "You miss him don't you bud, it's so obvious you both had a little thing before he locked your parents away and left you to rot. I get how that feels don't worry"
"You DO NOT know how it feels." Red son growled his hair sparking.
Macaque stepped back and laughed "Oh but I do. I know how it feels to be betrayed by someone you love, because they care nothing for the people around them, they only care about themselves, besides Mk is a lot like Wukong."
Macaque stood in from of him, staring hard at him with an evil smile.
Red son looked away and sighed, he had heard about the story's between macaque and swk from Mk so macaque really did understand what he felt, but he didn't have his parents taken.
She sighed and shook her head their head turning towards the jade emperors descendant and then looking at macaque.
"Where going to capture the dragon horse girl first." He said looking up at macaque.
Macaque stood for a second humming in thought, "Alright then, leave the rest to me then bud."
Red son nodded as she looked back at mei, oh how awkward it was gonna be to interact with her again.

Mk swept the floor humming and talking to Mei as she washed dishes, the two talking about what they where gonna do after they helped pigsy close up for the night.
"I mean we could go to the arcade, we haven't gone in awhile because of how popular the shop became after that really famous person reviewed the shop"Mk said shrugging
He put the broom as helping pigsy clean up his remains of the last batch of noodles.
"Yeah! That sounds awesome! However, I really need to pee so I'm gonna go to the bathroom- I'll be back!" Mei said cheerfully
Mk laughed a little giving her a thumbs up as he continued what he was doing.
Mei walked to the bathroom humming to herself as she went inside closing the door, looking at herself in the mirror, fixing her hair a little while sticking her tongue out.
She saw a shadow move out of the corner of her eye quickly turning around and pulling her sword out, pointing it to where she saw the shadow last only to be met with a blank wall.
She shook her head blinking a little and sighing of relief
"Man I must be going crazy! There's so way macaques back" she laughed.
Suddenly, someone else started to laugh to, "impossible right?"
She jumped not getting the chance to turn around before she was pulled into the mirror by macaque
"long time no see, dragon girl."

Mk wiped his forehead standing proudly at the sparkling kitchen before him.
"I really out did myself this time" he said laughing to himself a little.
He kept standing there proudly, before his mind started to wander.
I'm being alone he suddenly realized how confused and overwhelmed he was about everything going on.
His first thought being how the person he loved so dearly disappeared and then suddenly came back after two years.
He sighed knowing he really couldn't blame him though.
Red son did anything for his parents and loved them to death, to him he didn't understand that love but he respected it since Tang, Pigsy, and Wukong where like father figures to him.
Plus if someone locked any of his parental figures he would be pissed to. It was even worse that it was someone she loved and trust who did it.
Mk sighed and shook his head standing proudly again.
"It's not your fault Mk you had to! They're villains and they are bad and you did it to protect everyone!"
Macaque laughed "protected people you don't even know over your loved one? How cruel of you"
Mk flinched and held up the broom in attack formation "Macaque?! What are you doing here?!"
"I just came by to visit bud, I miss my old pupil is that so bad?" He said smiling as Mk furrowed his eyebrows
"Even without my staff I still have my powers."
"Oh I know, believe me I've been, keeping my eye on you." He popped out of his shadow putting a hand on Mk's shoulder and pushing him forward
"Just came to say, hello." He said before sinking into the shadows and disappearing, his laugh echoing in Mk's head.
He didn't even realize how fast his heart was beating, and how quick his breath was shaking his head trying not to collapse.
"You know what, I should check on Mei." He mumbled to himself.
He still felt his heart racing as he went over to the bathroom.
Something was still off, is macaque was here then does that mean they did something to mei?
Mk held his breath knocking on the door to the bathroom "hey mei you doing alright there? You've been gone for awhile"
"Yeah I'm fine Mk just not feeling well!"
He sighed in relief, he still felt like something was off but he shrugged it off "alright, just checking!" He said trying to sound like he wasn't gonna collapse before walking back to get his keys.

Red son sat sighing as he stared at two pictures in his hands sighing.
The first picture was a picture of his mother and father, and then a picture of him and Mk on their first date.
He remembered that day too well, he couldn't tell if he hated the moment or missed it. He shook his head and wiped his eyes stuffing the old pictures back into his pocket quickly from hearing the monkey return.
"One down, a whole bunch more to go"
Red son stood up, "Then take them tonight while they're sleeping and then use their shadows to mess with them. Like you did at the shadow play, and before you ask how I know...Mk told me"
Macaque shrugged "wasn't gonna ask bud" he smirked sinking into the shadows
Red son watched him descend sighing and pulling out the picture of him and Mk and gripping it tightly
"You know what noodle boy...I've decided. I hate you." He said softly burning the picture in his palm.
"I fucking hate you so much."
