~Moving day~

Y/n's pov
Today is the day I move from Colorado all they way to Florida I was packing the last box and then I put all of my things in the trunk of my car I got in the driver seat and headed to the airport I'm glad I didn't have a lot on things when I got there i parked in a parking spot and got out I grabbed my stuff and went inside I got all my stuff checked it got put on the plane the only thing I had with me was my backpack,and my phone after a while I gave my ticket to the lady and got on the plane after i found my seat I quickly put some headphones on and played my playlist on low volume just in case someone talked to me (A/N: btw I don't really know how long of a plane ride it is from Colorado to Florida so I kinda made it up) it was only like 3 hours on the plane and I ended up falling asleep 5 hours later I got woken up by the loud speaker saying we have arrived and to wait for our stuff after getting off I got all my stuff and waited for my uncle to pick my up I texted him before I got on the plane he finally go here I put my stuff in the back of his car and got in "hey darling how have you been" he said while I was getting in the passenger seat "I've been good you?" I replied with a smile "that's good and I've been good where's this apartment of your at" he started the car "oh here's the address" I put the address into the GPS after 20 minutes of talking and driving we finally got to the apartment my uncle helped me bring my stuff into the apartment we said our goodbyes I remember in the info of the apartment it said 'some furniture' it had a couch and beds in the rooms I got a knock on the door I opened it and a girl with blonde hair with beautiful green-ish blue eyes "hello I saw that you moved in I'm Gabrielle but you can call me gabby I just wanted to welcome you I live 3 doors down with my boyfriend Eddie" she had a big smile on her face "hi gabby I'm y/n it's really nice to meet you" I didn't really know what to say but I put a smile on my face "it's nice to meet you too y/n see you around" she waved then walked back to her apartment room I shut the door and went though instagram while sitting on the couch (A/N: so I forgot to say this but the boys live in Florida just because it's easier for me to remember) I got a text from my friend Emma who lives 3 blocks away from my apartment (E=Emma Y=y/n)
E:hey y/n
Y:hey Emma
E:so where's this apartment of yours at
Y:oh here's the address (the address)
E:Girl that's 3 blocks from here!
Y:really cool!
E:hey wanna hang out with me and my other friend so you can meet more people
Y:yeah when and where
E:um today at 4?
Y:yeah that's perfect!
E:ok see you soon
Y:see ya
After I got done texting Emma I unpacked a few of my things by the time I got done unpacking it was 3:52 I put some makeup on and my shoes on I waited for it to turn 4:00 and a few minutes later Emma knocks on my door I open it "hey Emma" I give her a hug "hey y/n" she replied hugging me back "so where are we going" I said grabbing my phone and keys "to this little restaurant a few blocks away from here" "ok cool" we walk out to her car and get in we make small talk while were driving there Emma parks in a parking spot "so my friend is already in the restaurant wait for us" she said getting out of the car "alright" I get out and we head into the restaurant I see a guy wave at Emma she waves back "hello how can I help you ma'am's" I guy at the front desk said "We actually are joining a friend here" Emma said "ok go right ahead" the guy said we went over to the guy and he stand up "y/n this is gaege,gaege this is my other best friend y/n" gaege put his hand out I shook his hand lightly he had really warm hands that felt nicely we sat down "hey guys is it ok if I invite my boyfriend" Emma turn to us "yeah that's fine" I said "I don't mind" gaege added "ok thanks guys he should be here in like 2 minutes" me and gaege started talking when Emma's boyfriend got there after we ordered our food me and gaege started getting along I looked over at Emma and she had that 'you two are cute together' look I shook my head and continue talking to gaege we get our food and started eating after we're done eating "so wanna split the check" Emma's boyfriend Alex said "I'll pay for Emma and myself" Alex added "and I'll pay for y/n and myself" gaege said and smiled "oh you don't need to" I said "I know I want to" him and Alex walked up and payed for the food we walked outside of the restaurant "hey y/n do um wanna hang out soon" gaege said trying not to make it awkward "I would love to" I said with a smile "could we swap numbers?" He asked "yeah sure" I answered we switched phones and put each other's numbers in our phones I wave to gaege and Alex while they go their ways I get in Emma's car and she gets in as well "soo how do you think of gaege?" She looks at me with a smirk "he's cool and kinda funny" I looked out the window "he is annnnnd he's single" she smirk again then she started the car and drived me home "bye n/n" she hugged me and I hugged her back"bye Emma" I walk inside my apartment 2 hours later I get a text from an unknown number

Y:oh hi gaege!
G:hi so when do you want to hang out
Y:um any day is fine with me because I'm not busy any day soon
G:how about Saturday?
Y:perfect!
G:want to go to this amusement park
Y:yeah sure!
G:ok see you on Saturday
Y:see you on Saturday!
I smile to myself I laid down on my bed and then fell asleep
