It's...

so...

cold...

I don't know how long I've been here, lying on the cold, stone floor. My neck and limbs have been chained to the wall for an unhealthy amount of time, time that I've lost count of for a long while. Has it been days? Weeks? Or even months? I'll never know in a hellhole like this.

This "hellhole" is called Markov Experiment Prison, as far as I know, they make cruel experiments and tests on human-animal hybrids - like me.

I'm Mika Aiko...and that's all I really know about myself. I've forgotten everything else about me ever since being trapped here. I've been locked in Cell 1 of this underground prison for ages along with my two cellmates:

I didn't know their names, as we never spoke to each other. This place was a place where nobody could be trusted. You never know when one of your cellmates could just snap and end your or somebody else's life. At any moment one of my cellmates could just give in to this place and loose their sanity.

No matter how much I wanted to get out of here, I couldn't risk communicating with my cellmates to come up with a plan. Unless...I make today a day of commitment. I didn't really have anything to live for. If I die here, I won't loose anything. If I succeed and escape, I can make something to live for. Either way, if I don't do anything, I'll eventually starve or be killed here by somebody or myself.

I slowly sit up, and awkwardly shuffle to the white haired girl. The chains pulled aggressively on my wrists, denting and scarring them deeper, but I ignored it and focused on my task. I lift my shaky left arm up and barely tap her on the shoulder.

The mysterious girl jerks to her feet, crouching slightly due to the restrictions of the chains. She was breathing heavily, her eyes staring into me like darts. The yellow haired girl stared at us in fear from the other corner of the small cell.

The white haired girl took a shaky step toward me, her face a mess of psychopathic intentions, before launching forward, the crack of her chains echoing throughout the chamber, followed by them clashing to the floor. She launched me back to the floor, grabbing my throat roughly.
