Ik ik don't kill me,
but I'm back and better than ever ❤️

"You look very nice today, where are you going?" Mercedes asks as she closes her book.

Alexei let out a deep breath, he could be truthful, he can tell her everything. However, he didn't want her to worry. He doesn't want her anywhere near this dangerous.

"I'm meeting a relative, I'll be back soon."

"Oh ok, is it okay if go out today? I never went out of the country before, I want-"

"That's not a good idea dekta. Some people might want to hurt you." He says turning around.

Mercedes who was now sitting up in the bed let her shoulders drop. Alexei wanted to scream out his frustration. He understood his cousin wanted to keep Mercedes safe, but Russia was not safe for her at all.

His enemies, sneaky cowards, hitmen, and most importantly his father were here. Either way, it seemed like a losing battle. He didn't want to make her feel trapped but she couldn't go wander around. He walks over to her and cuffs her face gently. Mercedes's eyes lift at him with a small pout.

"Don't make that face dekta. When I get back we can go out. I know a place where it will be just us. I promise." He tells her.

Mercedes sighs quietly before clearing her throat.

"Am I safe here?" She asks him in a low hush voice.

Alexei doesn't answer. Instead, he nods and moves his hands away from her face. Before he can walk away Mercedes grab his hands and pull him back to her. He raises one of his eyebrows as she stands on her knees, she wraps her arms around his neck as he looks down at her.

"Do you have to be there right away?"

Almost immediately Alexei's eyes darken before he let out a deep chuckle. He tatted his hands and reach down to the bottom of her short nightgown.

"For you dekta, I can be there a little late." He says in his thick accent.

She smiles softly just as his lips touch hers.

Alexei walks into the empty restaurant. With his head up high, dominance was seeping out of him. Holding a briefcase, he goes to a woman. She was simply beautiful. Her eyes were a light blue like aqua. Her hair was a light brown and in beach curls.

Her skin was pale with dark red lipstick painted on her lips. She sits there with another woman beside her. The woman is at least 5'8, with long black hair that reaches the middle of her back. Asian, specifically south Asian due to her darker skin tone.

Alexei sits down across from them as he carefully places the briefcase down beside him. He crack his neck that had a hickey exposed for all to see.

"You're late Alexei." The woman speaks in Russian as she wipes the extra dark red lipstick away from the corner of her mouth.

Alexei shrugs his shoulders. "I was busy. Did you get what I have asked of you?" He asks getting straight to the point.

The woman hums softly. Her eyes twinkle with amusement before looking over at the woman. She nods standing up wearing her black leather pants and black heels. Her black leather jacket matched and was slightly oversized to cover her bare chest since she didn't have a shirt underneath.

She walks away from the table while the woman looks back at Alexei.

"You don't call me, text me, or email me. We haven't spoken to one another in nine years-"

"Who's fault is that? Mine? I didn't come here to catch up with you."

"No, but you want me to help your little girlfriend." She speaks with a smirk on her face.

Alexei's eyes snap up at the woman. She chuckles humorously for a few seconds before clearing her throat.

"What? You think I don't know about your current situation?"

"Did he-"

"As if, Viktor wants nothing to do with me." She says scoffing loudly. "I hear things here and there. You know, your little girlfriend has been MIA in America. Don't tell me you're dumb enough to bring her over here. It's going to be harder for her to leave now than ever."

"No shit." Alexei groans. He runs his fingers through his hair. Frustration building up. "Just help me send us back to America."

"You must like her a lot to do all this for her. I thought I would never see the day, wait until I tell Mommie dearest."

"She's dead." He responds to her quickly and bluntly.

"Well, I'm pretty sentimental. I go to her grave once in a while. You should try it."

"Yes or no Anna before I walk out," Alexei says now getting annoyed with her.

Anna let out a deep and fake sigh while leaning back in the chair. She tsk, shaking her head.

"And get a chance to piss off daddy? Of course, I'm going to help." She smirks wickedly.
