Hi guys, I miss y'all honestly,
I hope y'all don't hate me tho
Life has been kicking my ass and I experienced the worst fucking writer's block for this book but it's better now

"You're getting big," Mercedes says as Alexei slip on his clothes.

Alexei chuckles softly putting on his white dress shirt. His smile drops when the door opens, a little kid runs in following behind two dogs. Immediately Alexei's face hardens as the Dobermans jump onto the bed.

"Get the fu-"

Immediately Damien runs in and sighs loudly.

"No cursing," Damien speaks in his Russian language. "Ah good morning Mercedes, you look wonderful. Sorry about the dogs, they're trained, however." He speaks in English with an accent.

"Oh, it's fine. They look so cute." Mercedes smiles as she cuffs one of the dog's faces and shakes it slightly.

"Get the slobbering mess out... and the dogs." Alexei sighed as put on his watch.

"How can you be so mean to my kids?" Damien scoffed speaking in Russian before going to his child. Picking him up and kissing him on the cheek. "Out now," Damien speaks in a firm tone in Russian.

The black Dobermans leave the room. Damien and his child follow behind them. Looking over his shoulder he mouths 'sorry' before closing the door. Alexei sighs loudly.

"My cousins are here apparently," Alexei says rolling his eyes.

Mercedes gets out of bed wearing a white nightgown. She takes just a few steps toward him before hugging him from behind. His body relaxes almost immediately feeling her warmth.

"I'm not the only one getting big." He notices causing her to laugh.

"I'm pregnant Alexei it's normal. Speaking about being big, I'm hungry, can you make me breakfast? I like your cooking." She tells him with a smile.

"Of course love."

Alexei places the plate of food in front of Mercedes. She smiles saying thank you while picking up her fork. Damien, Simeon, and Adrik all sit beside Mercedes.

"Where's our food?" Simeon asks in Russian.

"Your food is in your house. Go home." Alexei bluntly tells him.

"Jerk. Good thing we ate over here." Adrik mumbles.

"You can get a piece-"

"When did you start speaking Russian?" Alexei asks cutting her off as he grabs his mug of coffee.

Mercedes shrugs her shoulders. "Boris comes and checks up on me, he teaches me some words. I'm not fluent but I just heard food and home and kinda put the pieces together." She explains to him.

Alexei doesn't say anything. His eyes just flicker to the plate then at his cousins.

"They already ate, so eat your food. All of it Mercedes." He tells her.

"Well-" Simeon begins to speak.

"There's a knife beside me, Simeon," Alexei says in Russian before casually taking a sip of his coffee.

Immediately Simeon shut his mouth. Damien and Adrik snicker while Mercedes eat her food in her world. Hearing kids laughing in the back and dogs barking Alexei squeezes his eyes shut in annoyance.

He never liked noisy environments. Peace and silence were the one thing he looked forward to in his home. He wondered if it were to be like that when Mercedes gives birth. Would it be nosy? Would he enjoy it or just find it annoying?

He pushes the thoughts to the back of his head before opening his eyes.

"Why did you bring your kids here?" He asks annoyed.

"I told Natasha I would watch the kids. I thought it would be great practice for you." Damien says in his accent.

"I'm busy today-"

"I'll watch them," Mercedes says with a smile. "I don't mind kids, are they potty trained?" She asks turning to Damien.

"There are, are you sure you want to watch them?" Damien asks curiously.

Mercedes nods. "Better than sitting here and doing nothing. English?"

"Somewhat."

Mercedes nods before dropping her fork. She jumps off the chair and walks into the living room. Alexei groans softly once she leaves the room, and his eyes go straight to Damien.

"Since you, three want to be around me so much you all coming with me. I have errands to run."

And just like the three men groan loudly knowing today will be filled with boring plans. It was like a father bringing his kids to work when he doesn't do much but just paperwork. And they knew it was too late to run away now. Alexei's lips turn into a smirk before he takes another sip of coffee.
