Selena sighed as she sat on the field doing stretches. Scarlett stood over her trying to convince her to ask out Rosalie again. She was only half listening to the red heads rant and instead focused on the burn in her muscles. "Please Selena."
"No Scarlett." She replied for what felt like the hundredth time. "The girl doesn't even like me." She argued. "What's the point of asking if I know the answer?"
"Humor me?"
"Absolutely not."

Rosalie was having a very similar conversation with Emmett about the werewolf. She rolled her eyes again as she worked on her car. Emmett was sitting on the cars roof rambling about about the quote benefits of dating Selena.
"Emmett shut up." She snapped glaring at her brother. "Just drop it already."
"Come on Rose." He says. "Or are you scared?"
"I'm not scared."
"So ask her out, I know you like her."
"I don't even know her."
"So get to know her, duh." Emmett easily caught the wrench she threw at him. "Plus it's not like she's human you don't have to hide anything from her."
"Will you just drop it?"
"No." She rolls her eyes again. "Come on Rose what's the absolute worst thing that happens?"
"Aside from her saying no and her friends all laughing at me?" Rosalie really didn't care what people would think, but she didn't like the idea of it either. And the thought of Selena saying no made her chest hurt.
"So you're a chicken." He teases. "Besides all her friends ship you guys as Renesemee puts it."
"You two are like the gossip central."
"Ask her out."

Rosalie was very pointedly ignored Selena's existence not that it mattered as Selena was worried about other things at the moment. One of those things including figuring out what Max and Eli had taken. Unfortunately Selmo has taken a leave of absence, Selena had half a mind to show up at the little fucks house.
The only reason she didn't was suddenly she was busy with all these all books Alice had given to her from Carlisle to help figure out what was happening. So that's how she spent her spare time life as a full time werewolf she guessed. Remus and Derek helped with the reading as well, when they had the time anyway which was rare. Everyone was busy and Selena was stressed.
The second the bell rung Selena was already out the door rushing to leave so she could stress at home in peace. At least that was her plan until she walked out to see Scarlett sitting on her car.
"Whatever it is not now." Selena mumbled throwing her bag into the back seat. "I just want to sleep."
"Unfortunately we have to go get dresses for homecoming." Scarlett said smiling and Selena groaned. "And guess what?" Selena rolled her eyes. "The Cullen girls are coming." How she swung that Selena had no clue, probably Alice.
"Then why do I need to go?" Selena asked already feeling a headache coming. "You have new fashion insane friends plus Nova, Kat and Ashley why do you need me?"
"Because you need a dress." Scarlett deadpanned. "Besides I won't take no for an answer about this Selena."
"But I don't wanna." Selena whines making Scarlett frown. "No puppy eyes won't work this time." She said turning away from the redhead.
