Catra pov.

I was in a small forest, sitting on a rock where there was a halo of light, I uncovered my stomach inflamed by the new life that I have been carrying since five months, with a smile I let the sun cover my belly while I caress it with love. I loved with all my heart the being that was carry inside me, looking forward to our meeting. Even when it's the cause for some ephemeral encounters, I remembered how it had happened.

Catra's pov end.

Flashback:

Adora was gently hugging Catra, she could not believe that they had made out alive in the confrontation with Prime Hordian and she was able to rescue her, she felt how the feline hugged her tightly and then let out a small purr vibrating in her chest.

After a few moments the blonde carry her to her room making her lie down in the bed to rest, but the feline never quite managed to do it and that was known for Adora, first she thought that her lack of sleep was because of the flashes she got for the chip that against her will was put on her, but when Entrapta took it off she could still hear moans of anguish and pain that between dreams the brunette had, she wanted to know how to help her, so she get near the room silently and froze at what overheard.

-Don't touch me... don't get close...- said Catra between babbling. Adora began to feel immense anger at what those words implied, ¿what had happened to her with Prime Hordian? If he touched her, she swore between thoughts to kill him mercilessly.

By pure instinct Adora enter in the room, climb to the bed and hugged Catra against her chest carefully, no matter if she get scratched, punched or pushed her away, all she wanted to let her know that she was safe and she would take care of her. -You are safe, I will not let anything happen to you.- She said carefully in the cute fluffy ear. At first the brunette tensed at the contact, but being surrounded by the smell of Adora that since childhood impregnated her with security and love, that calmed her, so she face the blonde and hid her face in her chest, without contain the small tears.

Adora was more than distressed couldn't believe that Catra showed her vulnerability so openly since with each abuse of Shadow Weaver she'd forged a high wall of ice that no one could cross, sometimes even the blonde couldn't, so she deduced that something really traumatic had happened to her ex best friend with Prime Hordian. But she didn't say anything only hugged Catra tighter and caressed her back.

-H-he wanted to touch me.... w-wanted to deceive me with illusions so that I would be with him...- Catra said between sobs, Adora froze at the insinuations of what the feline undergo, she was furious and determined to kill Prime Hordian with her own hands and then guilt was lodged in her for not having gone for the brunette before, for hesitated, for almost leaving her again.

-You are safe now Catra, I will not let anything happen to you...- said Adora with teary eyes feeling helplessness, she wanted to take the pain away from her former friend while hugging her tighter into her chest.

The truth is that the blonde had missed her all this time they were separated, she even had dreams of them again together as always, being an accomplice of the feline in their occurrences and games, having sleepovers together, snuggling up before sleeping. She had secretly longed for her, sometimes she hated herself for having those feelings and thoughts that she shouldn't have of her enemy, that's why in the fights she always hesitate, push back her strength so not to really hurt her and intuited that Catra did the same, she could have killed her many times but she didn't, so maybe the feeling was mutual.
