~ Chapter 10 ~

also sorry for not updating yesterday, i had few things to do, besides i had done 3 updates the day before sooo

btw, after sun stopped hearing moon, moon obviously started glitching and the lights on rule was introduced

anyways, on with the story!

edit: i had to look up Sun's voice lines because i don't actually remember them and it took me so long to find them

Y/n's POV

"Helloooo! New friend!" Sun said spinning the kid around.

"You're sure up late! Are we having a slumber party? Where are all your friends?" Sun asked, putting the kid down.

'Guess he's gone full Daycare attendant mode' I thought to myself.

'This must be the kid Vanessa was talking about' .

"We can finger paint, tell stories, drink Fizzy Faz until our heads ex-PLODE and stay up all night!" Sun said excitedly, continuing to spin the kid around.

"There is only one rule: keep the lights on. ON. On..." his tone of voice darkened.

The Sun saw me.

"Y/n, look! A new friend!" he said, his voice going back to pure excitement; I smiled and nodded.

But the kid seemed to take this as an opportunity to sneak away, behind the front desk.

Sun noticed this too, and walked over.

"New friend, this area is o-off-limits. You're gonna get us in trouble..." Sun said, his voice becoming weary.

The kid seemed to inch closer to the light switch.

"Don't you want a puppet show? I-I have glitter glue! Ya like glitter glue? Googly eyes?" I could hear the fear in Sun's voice, and I started walking over to the kid.

But I wasn't quick enough, because when I grabbed his arm, he had already turned the lights off.

"No- NO! Why would you do that? Lights on, lights on! I-I warned you- I WARNED YOU!" Sun sounded in pain, and then he fell backwards.

It went silent.

I pulled the kid towards me "What did you do!?" I whisper-shouted, now worried for the kid's safety.

It wasn't Moon's fault, of course, but this glitch, seemed to have infected him in a way where he tried (and sometimes succeed) to hurt the kids who were awake.

And this case, me and the kid, where his prey.

"Naughty boy... Naughty boy... It's past your bedtime. You must be punished! Nighty-night~...." Moon jumped on the counter.

"Kid, we need to get to the play structures, to turn on the generators" the kid nodded.

"On 3, we run, ready? 1, 2...3!" me and the kid sprinted towards the play structures and made it just in time.

I dragged the kid higher up into the structure.

"Come on, we need to get away from him" I said.

Once we were high enough, I turned to the kid.

"Why would you turn off the lights?" the kid stared at me "I-I thought it would just distract him, like he was scared of the dark o-or something" I pinched the bridge of my nose and sighed.

"It's past your bedtime..." My eyes widened.

"Come on, we need to find those generators" I said, continuing to crawl further in. (listen i've come up with this theory that Sun needs to be able to climb into the play structures and fit, so the play structures are really big)

"What are you doing in the PizzaPlex this late anyway?" I asked, turning on one of the generators.

"I'd rather not say" he said, looking down.

I rolled my eyes "May I at least know your name?" I asked, turning to face him.

"It's Gregory" he said.

"Bitch" I heard him mumble.

"What did you just call me?" I asked turning to face him.

"A bitch" he said bluntly.

"I just saved you fucking life, asshole" I stated, crossing my arms.

"And?" he asked, looking at me like a stone cold bitch.

I burst out laughing, trying to remain as quiet as possible.

"You're funny" I said, ruffling his hair.

He smiled at me "I know". (this is probably my favourite interaction in the whole book🤣)

"Come on" I said, starting to crawl towards the next generator.

~ time skip ~

"This is the last generator" I said.

"Would you like to do the honors, Gregory?" in the past 30- minutes we had spent running away from Moon, I had taken liking to the kid.

He told me how he sneaked into the pizzeria because he was homeless and how the other animatronics were out to get him, and Freddy was helping him until 6 am, when the doors opened, and there was this lady in a rabbit suit, called Vanny, who was trying to kill him.

I had promised to take him in with me, after all this was over.

"I would love to" he said, turning the last generator on.

I looked up as the lights sprang to life.

Me and Gregory crawled out of the play structures.

"Alright, now I can-" I was cut off by Sun picking up Gregory.

"Rule-breaker, RULE-BREAKER! You are banned from the Daycare!" Sun said, throwing Gregory out the big double doors.

"Security alert! Security alert! Wooo! Woooo!" then Sun shut the doors, leaving Gregory outside.

"Sun, NO!".
