The Unexpected #1: The Caverns

Let's Meet The Characters!

Once upon a time there were eight friends; Cameron, Jay, Owen, Hannah, Justine, Maizie, Cassy, and Sophia. School had just ended and everyone was extremely happy. Mostly because they wouldn't have to worry about homework, getting up early, or even using their brains in general! Although, these eight friends had a plan to keep their brains awake as they were told that next year in grade 6, that they'll be having a test on all the previous years and they did NOT want to fail any tests. For this occasion, they planned on meeting at Mistyful Park in Brighton. None of them had ever been there before so it was a brand new surprise yet to be un-covered, at least for the eight of them. When Sunday came along ( 3 days after school and ended ) all of them except for Owen, were really curious about what the Park had that other Park's didn't. Owen only focused on one thing in life, or at least for now, ruin everyone else's lives by torchering them and destroying private property. As they finally made it to Mistyful Park, they noticed the same thing from any other park; A swing set, playground, woodchips, and sandbox. But there was one thing that caught their attention. A small hole in the ground that was as deep as a stick pushed in all the way, they looked at each other and nodded while smiling with glee ( still, except for Owen who still had his arms crossed and an angry face ) walking towards the small pit, they were just wondering what a pit was doing in the park, but they knew because it was a new park that no one has visited before, that there might be more surprises on the way, but maybe not the best surprises...

About the friends:

So, you now know most of the beginning, but you should probably get to know who they actually know so you'll understand more of the story.

First, we have Cameron, he's a silly but smart boy who loves to go adventuring! He uses his spare time with writing stories, playing chess and other strategy games, and he loves soccer and hockey! With blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, he is a funny boy. His best friends are Jay, Sophia, Hannah, and Cassy. Age: 10

Next, we have Jay, he's a focused boy who is adores soccer and is always choosing the correct ways to do things. He uses his spare time with Soccer, of course, reading, and annoying his older sister. With hazel eyes and black hair, he is a little shy around new subjects. His best friends are Cameron and Hannah. Age: 10

Then, we have Owen, an extreme bad boy who always ruin's stuff for everyone, usually smaller or younger kids. His is the complete opposite of Jay, one of his friends and has a major crush on Justine! Shh, you can't tell anyone that or else he will kill you! He uses his spare time to ruin everyone's lives, do art, and science. Don't insult science either, he is in love with science. With greenish eyes, and dirty blonde hair, he makes an excellent badboy! His best friend is Cameron. Age: 11

After that, we have Hannah, she's a friendly girl who loves lacrosse! She isn't keen on her outfits, more convinced on what's actually happening that day. She uses her spare time for practising lacrosse, playing poke, a game that Cameron and Hannah made up, and watching movies with popcorn! With blue eyes and brown hair, she is a kind friend! Her friends are Cameron, Cassy, Maizie, and Justine. Age: 10

Then, we have Cassy, close friend of Hannah and Cameron, she enjoys art and is really good at it! She uses her spare time for Art's and crafts classes, gymnastics, and music which she play's the piano and the flute. With hazel eyes and red
hair, she is an excellent friend! Her friends are Cameron, Hannah, Jay, Maizie, Justine, and Sophia. Age: 10

Next, we have Justine ( Pronunciation: Just-ean ), a smart and determined girl. She uses her spare time for making cupcakes with her BFF Maizie, drawing cute puppy pictures, and doing gymnastics! With brown eyes and brown hair, she is a kind and sociable person! Her friends are Maizie, Sophia, Cassy, and Cameron. Age: 10

After that, we have Maizie ( Pronunciation: May-zee ), a fun and playful girl who just loves sugar! Danger, Halloween brings many sugar high's to her... She uses her spare time for making cupcakes with her BFF Justine, playing sports with her family, and having movie nights! With blue eyes and blonde hair, she is a unique girl! Her friends are Justine, Sophia, Cassy, Cameron, and Jay. Age: 10

Finally, we have Sophia, a creative girl who LOVES unicorns a lot. Don't be a disgrace so don't call unicorns anything bad! She uses her spare time for cycling and hiking, doing yoga in her bedroom, and playing baseball with her dad. With blue eyes and dirty blonde hair, she is a curious kid! Her friends are Cameron, Justine, Cassy, and Jay. Age: 10
