"Is everyone okay?" Justine asked while coughing,
"I am, where's everyone else?" Hannah called out from not too far away.
"Ow!" Maizie yelled,
"Ha-Ha-Ha!" Sophia bursted out laughing when Maizie landed splat on the ground.
"Are you having a laugh attack Sophia? I thought only-" Justine asked but she was interrupted by Sophia still bursting out in laughter.
"Do we have to call 911?" Hannah asked,
"No because laugh attacks are different then heart attacks or seizers. In this point, it goes away after a few minutes and you can easily survive it," Justine explained,
"I'm hurt over here you know!" Maizie shouted,
"Sorry but we can barely see through the darkness of the cavern. Are you okay?" Justine questioned,
"No she isn't! Cameron already told you that she bruises to easily," Hannah interrupted. Maizie gave Hannah the look and she backed away mostly because it was creepier in the darkness.
"Here, I'll help you up and give you a piggy-back ride until we get closer to the surface, but don't get to comfy because you're coming off after a little bit!" Sophia explained after she recovered from her laugh attack,
"Okay, let's go before any rocks fall on us!" Maizie suggested.
"That hasn't happened yet..." Hannah mumbled. As they started walking, everybody but Hannah were stopping every five seconds in case somebody gets hurt.
"Wait, I heard a crumble!" Justine said,
"It's you walking! Are you afraid of your own shadow?" Hannah asked,
"No, the darkness is hiding the dangers!" Maizie explained,
"What kind of dangers would happen in a cavern like this? Maybe a little mud would get on your shoe! That would only hurt Maizie and she's not even on the ground!" Hannah replied,
"I HEARD THAT!" Maizie screamed,
"My back's starting to hurt, it's time to get off Maizie!" Sophia pointed out,
"But we just started!" Maizie cried,
"That's because Justine's stopping us every five seconds!" Sophia yelled,
"I can hear you just as well as Maizie!" Justine interrupted.
"Stop fighting or else we'll never get out of these caverns!" Hannah shouted,
"What's the point?" Sophia asked,
"What do you mean? That statement made no sense!" Justine explained,
"Whoops, but it wasn't a STATEMENT, it was a QUESTION! Anyways, what I was meaning to say is, if we stop so many times like this because of Justine, what's the point of trying to get out of here?" Sophia replied.
"Take a risk and follow me WITHOUT stopping!" Hannah ordered. Everybody stared at Justine for a long and I mean A LONG TIME! The next few minutes were horrible and painful.
"Justine, are you okay?" Maizie asked,
"EEERRRRRGGGGG!" Justine screamed,
"Ouch..." Sophia whispered with her ears ringing.
Quick Interruption
Nothing has been really happening this chapter yet. Truth is, in real life, this would happen with all the different personalities and fears that each person has! Something will happen soon, KEEP ON READING!
"My head is... Torch?" Hannah paused confused,
"Your head is torch? WHAT!" Maizie interrupted.
"No, there's a random torch on the wall over there! Wouldn't you have noticed the light coming from it considering we've been in almost pitch darkness this whole time?" Hannah replied,
"In my defence, my ears are still ringing!" Maizie defended.
"Your not the only one win that problem!" Sophia yelled. Hannah rolled her eyes ( her specialty ).
"Let's grab it!" Hannah interrupted,
"No way am I touching something that's so dirty! Plus, does anyone else think it's extremely weird that we found a torch in a random placement in the direction that we were heading?" Justine explained, "I think someone or something is watching over us, but how?" She continued. Justine had a point.
"I'm not backing off of something that you think is bad! Since when are you right?" Hannah shouted,
"99% of the time, I usually get 4's on my work you know!" Justine replied furiously.
"Well there's a 1% that I'm going to take so see ha later because once I get that torch, I ain't stopping!" Hannah ignored.
"HANNAH DON'T!" Sophia interrupted. It was too late and Hannah grabbed the torch, she started to run but bumped into something invisible blocking the path.
"What is this?" Hannah asked ( another rhetorical question ).
"What's with your torch, it's ice!" Maizie pointed out,
"Since when is it her torch?" Sophia questioned.
"Since five seconds ago!" Hannah replied.
The cavern went pitch black and the torch's ice light disappeared as well!
"AHHHHH!" A loud scream called out.
The cavern gained some light and both Maizie and Justine fainted onto Sophia's lap.
"Well there's more weight to carry. Hannah? Where are you?" Sophia called out into the darkness. Hannah was no where to be seen and the torch layer on the ground snapped in half.
"Just when I thought it couldn't get worse!" Sophia shouted. Maizie randomly woke up with a few words.
"Good job, you just jinxed us!" Maizie whispered as she fainted again.
What happened to Hannah? Was it the same person who made the crater? Was it the same person who tried to kill Cameron and Cassy? Who is it? What's next on this person's list?
