• I wrote x reader stories when I first started to actually write about 2 years ago.
• and the reasons I switched to OCs are b/c OCs are easier to immerse myself into the story w/out constantly having to write: y/n, h/c, [name], etc.
• but also whenever I would write about y/n acting a certain way, people get angry, or just overall unhappy
• for example, the y/n in my story is putting on makeup for a date. I understand that not everyone likes makeup, but you can just simply ignore it and move on. it's not that deep.

• "alien language?" — seriously?? never heard of makeup in your entire life? wow,, who's the pick me now?
• and when I wrote that y/n doesn't like skirts in another story,, the comment section was filled w/ people who said: "but I like skirts :((", or "why can't y/n ever wear cute skirts w/out it being baggy pants"
• hence I started my journey of writing OCs
• and when I do, I get this:

• and this isn't the first time that this happened. I've had ppl comment something similar to this on my other stories — I just didn't screenshot it.
• and this next one, same thing

• you're disappointed? cry about it.
• why couldn't you have just left the story w/out commenting that?
• and some more snippets of even if I do write about OCs, the hate doesn't stop:

• oh and btw, not every character that stutters is a y/n. people can stutter in real life when they're in an uncomfortable situation as well. educate yourself on human emotions🙂
