Basil was already in Sunny's room, but Sunny was out in the kitchen trying to find something to snack on after this incident.
Sunny heard a faint voice, it took a while for him to recognize it, but it was Mari. Was she.. still alive? Did she not die after all? IS SHE OKAY?
Voices came into Sunny's head telling him he was imagining things while the screaming and sobbing continued.
The voice he heard screamed and sobbed out things like:
“WAIT! PLEASE!”
“I DON'T WANT TO DIE! NOT YET!”
“PLEASE, HELP!”
There's was a bunch of coughing along with it.
Sunny finally gave in and stopped listening to the voice in his head. He turned around to see Mari, sobbing.
He looked at her, tears in his eyes. He looked everywhere in the kitchen for a knife or scissors to help her, but he couldn't find anything, nothing to help.
Sunny ran to his room to get Basil.
“B-Basil, help please! Mari's still alive, I swear! I'm not hearing things! Check for yourself, save her! PLEASE!” Sunny said while continuing to sob.
