"ohhh my sweet babyyyyy" jordyn's mother walked in the hospital room. she had been in the hospital for three days and was leaving tomorrow

"what are you doing here?" her mother never liked David but her daughter was in "love". they tried to tell her to leave him because they could do so little since they didn't live in America

her parents lived in the Dominican Republic. her grandmother lived there so when she died her parents decided to live there

"im gon ask you once and never again" her dad said scaring her. He had a very projective voice

"I just got hurt nothing serious" she said

"how? you were pregnant?" her mother asked holding her hand

"no she was a cow" her dad said sarcastically and his mother slapped the back of his head making him mug

"I can't reach him I think he-jordyn" tezanari walked in with food in his hands for her since she didn't like the hospital food

"oh...I can come back if you want?" He put his hands up seeing her dads gun. her dad gave his daughter a side eye

"no no it's fine" jordyn nudged her dad

"jordyn c Williams I need a drink before I catch a body" her dad left the room making his wife laugh at his sassy tone

"hey sweetie what's your name?" her mom smiled at tezanari who gave her daughter her food

"im tezanari ma'am" jordyn furrowed her eyebrows at him. The way he was respectful just turned her on

"okay I need to get back to work in two days and catch up with everything" she picked up her laptop

"you see how she didn't deny it" tezanari said to her mom making them both laugh

"you sure you can come to work so soon?" her colleague helped her get into her office. she took a week off because he mom made her

"yes I'm good maria" jordyn laughed sitting in her couch. little footsteps followed and it was Maria's daughter

"I got a meeting can you keep her for a hour and a half?" maria asked and jordyn agreed picking up her daughter and watching barbie with her

after twenty minutes she fell asleep in jordyn's arms.

"you ghosting me?" Tezanari walked in. she forgot she had him today and she hadn't been replying to him recently

she was embarrassed about everything. he knew her abusive boyfriend who was now nowhere to be found.

he knew about her miscarriage. she didn't need him walking on egg shells around her or being overly nice

"shhhh" jordyn said to him pointing to the sleeping child in her arms. he sat in the chair opposite the couch looking at her

"my bad" he whispered before they just looked at eachother letting the silence take over

"you good?" he asked. he wanted to be mad but he couldn't. she was going through something and she needed to be cut some slack

"yea I'm fine thank you,how are you" jordyn turned the question back to him who replied with the same thing

"your hair is cute" she whispered pointing at his head. he had rewisted his locs

"thank you baby" he came over and sat next to her. she squeezed her legs together feeling herself become wet just from his voice and presence

"can you believe it? six months ago you first came here" she said to him

"damn it felt like it was yesterday" tezanari laughed quietly so he wouldn't wake the baby

"this is your last session. It's crazy" he was supposed to have six months left of therapy but there was no need if he had already made the progress he needed to

"yea it is" he stared in her eyes. she stood up and out Maria's daughter in the beanbag and covering her with a blanket

"give me the speech you're dying to say" he laughed watching her smile

"im really proud of you,like so so so proud. is something in my face?" she stopped her speech watching him stare at her

"nah keep talking"

"I just hope you can keep being strong for yourself after you stop coming and if you need me you can always email me if you need help" she smiled before clapping for him

"ahhh you more happy than me and I don't know if that's a good or bad thing" he smiled slightly playing with his locs

"good thing. that means you'll be fine" he didn't want to stop coming because then he'll have no reason to see her

"so that's it for us?" he asked

"I guess so"

she would email someone around them just to do and check up but wouldn't bother them because she didn't want to remind them of what they went through

"can you come check my neck I think something wrong with it?" he had a irritated face while rubbing his neck she stood up and came towards him before he ambushed her and pulled her onto the couch

"tezanari" she said looking at him put his arm around her and pulling her in for a hug

"I appreciate you" he whispered in her ear before they both looked at eachother.
