At least an hour had gone past since Mr Sweet had last gone into the room, and everyone was bored. Patricia, Fabian, and Amber were all contributing members to Sibuna, and, up to this moment, had been pretty useless.
Fabian scribbled on a sheet of paper Mr Sweet had thrown at him earlier and handed it back to Patricia.
'We need to get out of here.'
It wasn't a minute later he got a response.
'Not possible.' She wrote. 'Sweetie will lose his mind. I've never seen him this upset before.'
Fabian shot her a sympathetic looking 'I know.'
Another half hour passed, and everyone had long since, somehow, dozed off. Amber was the first, then Mick, then Eddie, then Patricia and Fabian.
"Wake up!" Mr Sweet shouted as he walked to the centre of the room. "Who has to go to the washroom?"
Everyone raised their hands, fully conscious or not.
They'd all gone, which took almost another half hour because Mr Sweet let them go individually, and they were back in The Room.
Eddie ripped at a book Mrs Andrews was making them read as a class and threw the bits of paper around the room.
"Smart." Mick remarked. "Really smart."
"I know, right?" Eddie asked gleefully and mockingly. "It's wrong to destroy literature. Such fun to read."
Patricia smiled to herself.
Mick, however, just rolled his eyes. "Whatever."
By now, at least half of their time for the day was over, just as Victor walked in, a few items in hand that Fabian, Patricia, and Amber knew were part of their mystery.
Eddie slid the book off the counter and it hit the floor with a loud thud, and that's when Victor knew they were there.
"Hmm." He grunted in acknowledgment and set something down on a desk in another room. He looked for his keys to lock the door as Eddie spoke.
"Victor!"
"What?" Victor asked.
"Can I ask you a question?"
Victor sighed and put his keys down. "What?" He repeated.
"How does one become a janitor?" Eddie asked with humour in his eyes.
"I'm a caretaker. You want to be a caretaker?" He questioned.
"No. I want to know how one becomes a caretaker." He put air quotations around the word 'caretaker.' "Because Mick here is quite interested."
"You listen here, boy." Victor said. "Your father will know about this."
The smirk faded from Eddie's face and was replaced with a glare full of hate. At this, Victor smiled.
"That clock is twenty minutes late." He said and left, forgetting entirely about locking the door.

AHA! It was not a month! At least, not entirely. Pretty close, though, so I apologize. I haven't watched the Breakfast Club in quite some time and totally forgot the middle bit in the movie. Love you all for sticking with me. <3•
