Enjoy! :)

After having her heavenly meatball sub stolen from her, being punched in the face, all while being embarrassed in front of the entire school, had taken its toll on the usually shy, but sweet Jayden Fields.

She let out a loud sigh, her face contorting into a sorrowful frown whilst she gently pressed the icy drink to her angry, swollen eye.

"Just like that, Jayjay, it needs to be cooled down some!" exclaimed Bristol, seeming overly happy with the given situation. "Why do you look so happy right n- now...?" whispered Jaydden with an expression not unlike a puppy that had been kicked across a dusty basement floor. Bristol gave her a confused look, her arms that had been punching the air in happiness dropped to her sides when seeing her best friend's expression. "What do you mean, Jayden? Marshall Newberry BLUSHED at you!" Squealed Bristol, bringing her hands up to her face in a cupping motion, her eyes wide and excited.

What?

What!?

WHAT!?

'This is impossible...' Thought Jayden with a smile, her eyes crinkling due to her smile that rivaled one of a kid on Christmas Morning. She brought her fists into the air, throwing herself up in the sky, as if the wind would catch her so that she could fly with the angels, and thank them for Marshall Newberry.

'But wait.' She thought all of a sudden. Bristol's eyes turned from glee filled, to worried when she saw her best friend's mood change. Jayden's fists lowered to her sides, and clenched hard against her shirt, her eyes welled up with salty tears and her head lowered in sorrow.

"He'll never like me..." she whispered more to herself than Bristol, she gently bent down to pick up the orange Gatorade that had fell. It was turning slightly warm from the sun's rays. The orange Gatorade that she was using to cool down the black eye Marshall Newberry had given her when she refused to give up her meatball sub.

She looked over to her Icierra ears, her face scrunched up in anger. "He'll never love me." She said one final time, her shy self suddenly seemed to crumble under her newfound confidence. She picked up her Icierra ears that she had sat down on the picnic blanket they were seated on. She looked into the sun, with a glare that rivaled it. Her eyes shone with confidence and bravery, she said: "I'll get Marshall back for the punch he gave me, with one of my own!"

Bristol looked at Jayden with a surprised expression. Was this really her best friend!? She suddenly smiled, a beaming smile full of pride for her best friend's newfound confidence in herself and her abilities. To think this had all come from a meatball sub? With her BFF's new identity as a furry, and her ego boost in confidence, surely this would be one rollercoaster ride.
