Long ago. As Human Civilizations spread around the world building their Tribes, Kingdoms, Empires, there was another power that spread around the world. Magic. It had existed for as long as the world had existed. Eventually, Magic had found a host to master its abilities. Humans. Granted this power by their Gods. Humans could control magic, learn to wield it for their own benefit. The Ancient Civilizations were the first to wield this power. Egypt, Greece, Persia, Rome, India, China, Mesoamerica. But as Humanity was gifted this power. Absolute Power, can corrupt absolute. And Magic split into two factions. Light Magic, and Dark Magic. And so began the wars. Wars which were fought between two factions. And wars that would be fought in an eternal conflict.

Greece 1987 A.D

Greece. One of the World's oldest Civilization. For Centuries, Greece had served as the shining beacon of the Ancient World. Their Influence in the world still remains strong today.

"Where is the rest?" Mistress Larisa demands as she spoke to a 7 year old girl. One of her thieves, Kassandra displays all the treasures she could find.

Kassandra looked up guiltily. "T-this is all I could get today."  She said.

Larisa slapped Kassandra on the face hard. Kassandra cried tears. "You little rat! You stupid girl!" Larisa scolded.

"S-Sorry, Mistress." Kassandra tried to say.

"No excuses!" Larisa snapped slapping Kassandra again. "And where is the statue?"

Kassandra handed over a statue. It appeared to be a statue of the Pythia of Delphi. A powerful and rare artifact. But when Larisa examined it.

"What is this?" Larisa asked.

Kassandra looked nervous. "I-it's what you wanted me to get."

Larisa took out her wand and placed Accio on a belt in the closet and used it to whip Kassandra with. Kassandra fell to the floor as she felt the lashes strike her.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Kassandra begged.

"Why is this statue, cracked? You idiot girl! You're just like your parents!" Larisa scolded.

Kassandra knew what Larisa was referring to. In years past when Kassandra was a lot younger, her parents owed the Mistress Larisa, one of the most notorious underworld figures in Greece a debt. And that Larisa had them killed and took Kassandra for her own benefits. Kassandra was trained to steal for her. To pickpocket, lockpick, steal, make a scene, sneak. The whole Thief pack. "I'm sorry, Mistress." Kassandra tried to say. "I must've pressed on the statue harder then I should've.-" And the truth was that Kassandra had gripped that statue harder then she should've

Larisa slapped Kassandra again. "Don't talk!" Larisa looked around. Then she got an idea. An awful idea. "Fortunately, for us. We still have time to profit from this." She then grabbed Kassandra. "You see, you stole a very valuable artifact from Greece."

"You told me to." Kassandra wanted to say. "And I-I don't want to anymore!" The truth was that Kassandra hated doing these types of work. Especially since a majority of the work she was doing for Larisa nearly got her killed on multiple occasions. At one point when she was 6, she was caught by a group of other criminals and ended up being chased up a poll with a hungry dog barking at her.

Larisa still gripped Kassandra. "You don't speak to me that way! You take whatever I tell you take and you do as I command!" Larisa countered. "There's a reward out for the thief who stole the Statue of Delphi. And one that I intend to collect." She then placed a spell on Kassandra.
