It's October now. I've been in Hogwarts for about over a month. Even though I have some friends here, I still feel a little homesick. I miss the Country and the smell of fresh air. The old Anglo Saxon Village Ruins. And I miss Mater. My School Situation is still the same as when I left it. While it seems as though everybody has found their rhythm with their schedules and learning lessons. I'm still having trouble trying to grasp even concepts. I just can't do it like the others can. Ryan seemed to become the prodigy of nearly every subject. And let's just say that Hermione is at the same level with him. In almost every subject ever. It also doesn't help that Hermione doesn't even talk to Ron and Harry anymore. But Ron just sees Hermione as a know it all with a bossy attitude. I'm just trying to avoid trouble. But it seemed to have a way of finding me.

Though at the beginning of the Month, Wood took both me and Harry to explain Quidditch to us.

Harry also grabbed the Quidditch Equipment which was in a trunk.

"Quidditch is easy enough to understand." Oliver told us as we walked over to the training grounds. "You know how to play Quidditch, Kassie?" He asked me.

"How do you play Quidditch?" I asked in all innocence.

Wood sighed. "I guess that answers that question. We'll just start with the basics." He decided. "Each team has seven players. Three Chasers, that would be you, Kassie along with Katie Bell and Angelina Johnson. Two Beaters, for our team. The Weasley Twins. One Keeper, that's me. And a Seeker. That would be you, Harry."

He opened the wooden chest after Harry placed it on the ground. Inside were three balls and a crest with the Hogwarts Crest. I figured that Wood was going to explain what these were. So I just remained silent and let him talk. "There are three kinds of balls." Wood said as he pulled out the dark red biggest ball. "This one's the Quaffle." He threw it to me.

It's pretty light. I thought it would weigh the same as a shot put ball. "Now the Chasers handle the Quaffle and try to put it in one of the three hoops. If Ten points if it goes through one of the hoops." Wood explained to me.

"So it's my job to put it in the hoops?" I asked.

"That's right." Wood answered. "Glad to see your with me so far."

"And is the Beater the one that keeps it out or the Keeper?" I asked.

"It's the Keeper's job." Wood answered. "As for the Beaters-"

"What are those?" Harry asked referring to the two smaller black balls trying to get out but chained up.

"I was getting to that, Harry." Wood tossed a small club to Harry. "You might need this." He released one of the balls and it shot threw the air.

I looked nervous. "Careful now, it's coming back." Wood told us. The Ball returned back and Harry gave it a mighty whack and over a statue.

"Woah." I commented. Harry must have the strength of Heracles or something.

"Nod bad Potter. You'd make a fair Beater. Not as good as Rath but-" Wood never got to finish that sentence as the Ball zoomed right at us. "Oh great." The Ball hit him right in the stomach.

He fell to the ground and was struggling with trying to keep the ball in his grip. Like the ball had a mind of its own. But after a bit of a struggle, Wood got the ball chained up.

"Are you okay?" I asked wanting to make sure he wasn't hurt.

"I'm all good." Wood answered laughing. "The Chasers hit me harder then that on Practice.

"What was that?" Harry asked.

"Bludgers." Wood answered. "They rocket around the field trying to knock players off their brooms. Which is why we have the Beaters. They protect their side and knock them towards the other team."
