I wake up in the light of my room, the windows shining on me with the warmth of a million candles assist me in my morning affairs.

My usual wake up time, greeted with my personal tailor, who is also my best friend. She yesterday, had a personal matter so couldn't attend me, which may make sense as why I was so bored.

"Fraya! So good to be awoken by a familiar face." I hug her good morning, as she returns it. "As you you princess theo!"

Though my best friend, she still needed to give me respect. I've asked her more times then the sun as risen and set, to her greet me normally. But she meet me half way, and calls me theo instead of Theodosia.

"How was your leaving yesterday?" And she sits me down and braids my hair into a high ponytail.

"Mother needed help with the horses again, since her health is still declining." She drops a bit, but picks up right after.

"I pray for her my dear fraya, and please ask me to assit next time!" She shakes her head at my proposal, "with all due respect my highness I could never ask you for some task, it could ruin your clothes which, queen gwenith would get unhappy about."

I slim my shoulders down a bit, knowing the statement was right. My mother was always particular of my activities for those reasons.

"I'm sorry I can't do much, I will ask to see if there's better medics near us." I look at her eyes in the mirror, with a soft smile, "it's okay your highness, I will be able to see this through."

I nod the ressuacne comforting me for the time. As she finishes my hair she picks out a dress, the light green always being my favorite color, looking like a wild garden has taken over my wardrobe.

The dress simple for me, but always handles with upmost care with fraya, "a beauty like this can't be tossed around like ball." She often says with my things.

The trimming on the dress, an off white color matching the white shoes accompanied with most of my dresses. "You look beautiful as always." She exclaims as we both walk out, meeting eyes with jalon and Devon. "Good morning your highness." Jalon bows as he does, "good morning Jalon." I smile, whilst Devon is making conversation with Fraya.

"How was your leave yesterday Ms Fraya?" My brother smiles a bit. "Oh nothing really, helping mother with the chores." She smiles.

She and Devon have been close since I could remember, I believe they have the fancy for eachother, but rather not intervene with each other's lives to much.

"We must get going highness Theo, the queen has requested us to meet near the tea room to meet a suitor." Fraya looks at me in utter most Joy, I however am not reciprocating those feelings for I'm not very enjoyable of this daily chore. I'd rather pick up rubbish off the streets then meet people to marry into my family.

For more a less, money, fame and protection.

"Oh, well I'll sell you both later hopefully." My brother waves us off, and Fraya, Jalon and I head off.

Walking the halls, I see more people then I usually do. Many carrying important looking objects, and the tapping of shoes is filling the air.

"Fraya, is there a formal happening?" I look over and them both looking dumbfounded at my question.

"Your highness, it's almost lord's Melchior's birthday." My father's birthday!

"Oh my, I feel a fool." I giggle at myself, having the memory of a old witch.

Finally reaching the stair case leading to the tea room, my mother stands at the top, towering over the floor.

"My Queen." All of us say, and bow.

She smiles. "Oh you three, stop being so formal, the city doesn't present themselves now." She smiles and waves her hand.

We return the smile and head into the room.

The room is a very, lack of being term, feminine room. Flowers, pretty tableweare, beautiful chandelier, big windows and a soft rumble of light music. We all sit, awaiting the person to meet us. Or rather me, I should be saying.

After what felt like a second, three men walk in.

Jalon, standing near the door, makes eye contact with all of them. Making and understanding.

My mother gets up excitedly. "Oh ! Mr jera!" She runs up and shakes the man's hand. "My queen." He bows. "It's so lovely to make your acquaintance again."

They have an amazing friendship, that I can only dream of having. Jera was my mother's best friend for many years. He now running a bank within castle grounds, and usually assists in suitors. For his knowledge of "researching".

"This is my brother, tay. Please pay him no mind, as he is here for the mere convenience of both him and I.

He bows, and the man on the left of jera, catches my eye even if for a second.

"Good morning, m'lady." He bows while jera gestures him, his eyes meeting with mine. His of, other imaginative blue eyes.

The blue, of royal blue. The light shining against his own, making me wonder what lies behind them.

I smile in return. "My name is Xavier, I am second cousin to the friend you call jera."

His voice, that of deep and understanding. The rhythm of it sending nothing, but a chill down my spine.

"Why! Yes, he is, and I will assume he will make great company with your daughter, your highness."

My mother, Fraya and even Jalon, smiling if just a bit. "I will be so inclined, to have him accompany me."

I smile at Xavier, his face lighting up like a candle in the middle of night.

"Well, we shall excuse ourselves now! Please, have your own time." They leave, as in an instant.

The silence now fills the room, we look around as in sink.

"Well, may we talk over tea?" He asks, heading twords the table.

"Oh! Of course! Please let's sit."

We both sit, taking a tea to our liking. "My favorite tea, always seems to be something of sour. Like of lemons, or maybe of grapefruit. It aids me in my journeys."
