LUKE'S POV
YEAR: 2009
"Ary do you wanna come over and watch my first YouTube cover?" I asked over the phone.
"Sure," she replied.
"Ok, see you when you get here!"
I hung up the phone and set up my camera. My mum just bought me a guitar and I'm so excited to post this video because I've been practicing a lot. The door bell chimed an dI rushed to the door and swung it open revealing Art in black shorts and a tank top. "Hiya," she greeted me with a hug.
I will never get used to that.
She broke the hug and I said, "Ready to get started?"
"Yes! I'm so excited! I can't wait to hear you play!" she cheered.
We went up into my room and I told her to sit on my bed while I played. I turned on the camera, hitting the record button and told the camera my name. I strummed the first few chords and started singing.
I saw Ary smile at me from the corner of my eye which gave me a confidence boost because impressing Ary always gave me extra motivations to make sure she loves it.
Eventually the song ended and I hit the end button while Ary sat on the edge of my bed waiting for me to upload the video. It was taking a while so she got up behind me and peered over my shoulder to see how much uploading was left before it was officially on YouTube.
Finally it was on there and Ary wrapped me in a huge hug and said, "Luke! You did so amazing! I never knew you could sing?"
"Well I just practiced and soon figured out that I like to sing," I answered.
We looked eacother in the eyes and she smiled at me. Flashbacks were rolling in my head and she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. At first I was a little shocked, but I kissed back knowing that, that kiss was the only thing I wanted.
