.SCARLET'S POV

I was handed some clothes from my mom and smiled at them in my hand. I went into the bathroom and got changed into them. I looked at my reflection and gave myself a pat on the back for getting better. I soon stepped out of the bathroom and my mom gave me a huge hug. "Lottie," she whispered in my ear, "I'm so proud of you."

"Thanks mom," I replied, rocking our bodies back and forth slightly.

She sighed and we left my hospital bedroom, going straight to the front desk. My mom signed me out and made an appointment for me to get a check up in about a month. We walked hand in hand out to her car and I got on the passenger side, looking around to take in the environment. "Wow. I haven't seen all of this in awhile."

"Yeah," my mom said pulling out of the parking lot onto the highway, "not much has changed though." I nodded my head and turned on the radio, only for the person running it to talk about the news of Luke's baby. I went to turn it off, but my mom slapped my hand away. "I think you're gonna want to hear this."

I gave her a weird face and I listened to what the guy was saying. "So yesterday, Luke Hemmings himself confirmed that the infamous baby is not his! He said that two people (the real parents of the baby) had tricked him into thinking that it was his, but an event occurred yesterday that made the baby's real father and Luke meet. He was astonished by the controversy and once the baby was born he even made them get DNA tests! What else was figured out was that Elodie, was the cause for his Father's death and his mother's bad hand. We have Luke on a call right now!"

"Hey Gary," he greeted, "way to sum everything up."

"Hello Luke. Now would you want to say anything to the viewers listening?" Gary asked.

"I would just like to apologize to my beautiful ex-girlfriend, Scarlet, my mum, Liz, and Scarlet's mum, Meg. They warned me about the situation, but I was too oblivious to recognize their help. I would also like to thank them for all their support with this controversy. Love them loads," he finished.

I honestly started to tear up. Why was I tearing up though? That was the real question. I just never have stopped caring for him and then feeling of knowing he still cared for me felt really nice. I wiped the tears that managed to roll down my cheeks and smiled. "That was a lot better than I thought it was going to be."

My mom smiled and pulled into our driveway. I stepped out of the car and went up to the front door, my mom tossing me the keys to unlock the door. I out the key into the keyhole and twisted the key, letting myself into my home. I sighed and walked into the living room, seeing about a million gifts. "Lottie!" my mom called from outside, "those are from the boys!"

I smiled and went to look at all of them when I heard footsteps, I just thought it was my mom, but when I turned around it was the people I least expected. "Guys!" I ran over, tackling them all in a hug.

"Lettie!" Ashton practically screeched, almost making my ear drum burst.

"Ash!"

He giggled a little and lead me over to the couch. I sat down next to him, while Al the boys opicked out the present they wanted me to open first. I took Michael's first and gave him an awkward smile. It's going to be like that for while isn't it? I laughed little and opened up the bag, revealing a new flannel shirt. "Thanks Mikey."

He smiled and nodded his head and then I took Luke's. It was a much bigger bag and I put it on the ground just in case I broke it because I could tell it was made of glass. I pulled out the rounded glass case and took the flimsy paper off of it. I gasped when I saw what it was. It was a single red rose in a preserved case, to make sure it doesn't die in a long time. It's basically like the rose in Beauty and the Beast. Tears formed in my eyes and I got up and hugged Luke. I sighed remembering the first day we met quite explicitly, and let out a small giggle knowing that's where I had my first kiss also. I pecked his cheek and sat back down taking Ash's present next.

It was wrapped up with pink wrapping paper and I looked at the box for a moment, then tearing off the paper revealing a Polaroid camera. "Yes! This is sick Ash!" I saw something float down on the ground, but I picked it up, examining the picture. "Oh my gosh!" It was all of us at my pool party when I think I was turning... eight?

"Do you like it?" Ashton asked?

"I don't like it," his face dropped, "I love it!"

He laughed a little and then breathed out, "Good, you had me worried for a second."

Calum handed me his gift last, it was in a tiny box so I expected it to be jewelry. I unwrapped the little box and opened the top. I pulled the bracelet out and covered my mouth with the other hand. "Cal?!"

He walked over to me and sat next to me, taking the charm bracelet out of my hand and putting it in the palm of his hand. "See this is pendant," he lifted up a heart, "means that you're kind and loving." He picked up the next pendant, which was a flower, an orchid to be exact, "this means that you're perfection." He motioned to the next pendant, a lantern, "this is to show that you're my light on my darkest days." The last pendant he showed me was a circular charm, but had an engraving of two people holding hands, "this resembles my love for you and how I never want to let you go. Scarlet, would you do me the honor of taking you out on a date?"

"What?"

"What?"

"What?"

"I'd love to."
