Sunny Delight On A Saturday (Ronald McDonald x Reader)

A/N: This was written in 2020 so don't expect anything good. Also, I know Ronald's appearance is slightly repulsive but just imagine him as a hot anime boy. ENJOY. 

Y/Ns POV:

The weekend finally, I waited for this moment for what felt like an eternity. I was so ready to just stay home and do absolutely nothing. I looked at my phone to see 2 texts from Ronald McDonald.

Ronald:

Are u down to hang out this weekend?

I was thinking maybe this Saturday at ur house

Y/N:

Yeah sure what do u wanna do?

Ronald:

I was thinking maybe we could drive to the store and buy a bunch of different snacks and food and make a charcuterie board

Then we could eat it while watching youtube or something

u down?

Y/N:

Ofc it sounds like fun

Meet u at my house Saturday at 5 pm?

Ronald:

Sounds good cya then

At first, I was hesitant. All I wanted to do was to just lay at home and leisurely drink sunny D but I have a hard time saying no, so I reluctantly agreed. Maybe it'll be fun? Hopefully. Ronald was an interesting person, to say the least. Dont get me wrong I love talking to him, he's a great person, but I dont particularly know how to feel about him. I probably have a crush on him but I dont really want to admit it; admitting that I had a crush made me feel like I was in middle school again and I was honestly kind of ashamed. I had known him since high school. We didn't really talk a whole lot but we became closer in senior year. I haven't gotten the chance to talk to him a whole lot since high school, college has really gotten in the way.

I went to sleep that night thinking about what the next day had to come.

I woke up, did my morning routine, contemplated everything, put on clothes, and went on with my day until 5 pm.

Ronald:

You readdddyyy

I'll be there in like 6 mins

Y/N:

Ok ill see you then

As I waited I cleaned up my house to look presentable. I dreaded meeting up with Ron but also I was slightly excited to see him again. I was always very anti-social but Ronald helped me get out of my shell a little bit. After waiting for a couple of minutes I heard a knock at my door.

"Hey, y/n how have you been? It's been a while since I've seen you in person, you look as beautiful as ever."

This crazy mother fucker really doing this to me right now.

"Yea it has been and I've been doing good how 'bout you?"

"I've been doing alright, I hope I didn't ruin your plans of doing nothing"

"Oh no, you didn't ruin anything!"

Did he just read my mind? That caught me off guard but we continued the conversation as my heart rate went up from embarrassment. As he and I kept talking we hopped into his car to drive to the grocery store. Most of the car ride was filled with light banter and making a list of what things we should get from the store. "So have you downloaded any dating apps lately? I remembered you telling me that you wanted to get back into dating and...stuff" he asked. I did want to get back into dating since I've been single for many years and haven't really had a romantic partner. To be honest, being in a relationship terrified me but I think I'm ready.
