*flashback*

Antimony was running through the fields of wheat that surrounded her village, Basae was a peaceful village, for all Atomics, refugees and twisters alike. Many abandoned children live here, including all of Antimonies friends and her brother Kalium. She skippied happily along in the meadows to the forest when the flat lands ended, running into the emerald forest. Bare-footed, the 7 year old fire twister was fast and stealthy, she knew about a small, sick boy, stuck in the wilderness, her parents would never allow her to have a 9 year old earth boy living with her, but she knew about the dwindling numbers, and had to help. Antimony decided to help him, she brought him food and helped him make a shelter. Although the forest was a good 2 miles from the village, Antimony had no problems running there. The boys name was Bromine, he was olive skinned, brown hair, and beautiful, shining green eyes. Over the years he lived outside of the village, Bromine, had not only gained a nicname, a companion, and skill, but also age.

 "BRODY!?" Antimony yelled for the 13 year old earth child, hoping he would hear her calling him. "ANNIE!? I'M OVER HERE!" Bromine yelled for the fire twister, dropping the wood in his hands and running to see her. "BRODY!!!" Antimony smiled and ran into the large chest of the 13 year old, for just a young teen, she knew he already had enough muscle to beat her own father in any strenth contest. "Hi Annie" Bromine smiled and pulled her close to him, she was far smaller than he was, in size, weight and strenth, but she had been visiting him for years now, and she had finally made the largest descision of her life.

"Brody..I've decided to run away with you" Bromine was happy to hear this, but he knew how hard it would be on Annie and her family and friends. "Annie.. can I not just come and live in the village?" She looked up at his soft face, the boy was already exceding the regular height for a fire Atomic. "Please Annie, I've lived outside your village for years, I've heard so much about it and I dream of it every night, I think about your friends and family, and I wake up in the morning, wanting to meet them more than anything, I want to meet Aurum, and Kalium, Neos and Beryllium, please." Bromine stared at her, hopping she would say yes. "Bromine.. you know I can't do that." Annie looked at him sadly, tears growing in her already damp eyes. "Annie, I was reading the cultural book you gave me on fire Atomics.." "Yeah? what about it?" "Shouldn't there be a festival going on tonight?" Antimony gasped at her friends quick thinking and kissed his cheek. "You're a genius!" she giggled and took his hand, beginning to run. "We have to get you ready!".

Antimony and Bromine ran. Bromine constantly caught behind Annies speed, her auburn eyes glowed bright yellow as she put her element atoms to use. Annie jerked her hands behind her and spread her fingers far apart, and, what seemed to have appeared out of no where, was fire. flashing out from her finger tips and shooting her forward like a rocket. "NOT FAIR ANNIE!" Bromine yelled as his own eyes, flashed bright green, and he used his hands to push the rock from the ground, without touching it, and shoving himself into the air by twisting the rocks natural shape. "BROMINE! THATS PHENOMINAL!" "YOU SHOULD TRY LOOKING IN A MIRROR SOMETIME!" Bromine laughed and continued this process until they were close to the village borders.
