Vinnie's pov

After my argument with Lola I went to get the boys back to their jobs . Lola is too stubborn for her own good and now it's getting in the way of my job.

V: gauge I need all the men to meet me in the driveway
I texted him before getting on the motorcycle and driving to the house .when I got there everyone I wanted was waiting for me

V: I hope you all had fun but remember who your boss is go back to your jobs please
I send them off then head inside to see wassup

C: hey Vinnie where's Lola ?

Charli asked when she noticed me walk in ,she was talking with Jules and Loki 

V: she wasn't feeling well so she stayed home

Js: what ?! Is she ok she looked fine this morning

V:she fine jus a lil headache 

lo: she told me it was cramps 

v:its nothing serious 

C:Well if its not serious then why isn't she here

v:she wanted to rest instead 

i say as i excuse myself and head back to the main house 

m:there you are ? where have u been ?

Maddy rushed over to me before i could leave the garage and i furrowed my brows in confusion

v:whats  going on ? 

m: we got him 

v:who 

i asked while following her down stairs to the dungeon where we keep enemies and in the first cell i see him 

b:heyy Vinnie long time no see bro 

Bryce sat on the bench badly bleeding with a black eye 

v:  where did you get him from ?

m:one of his gave him up?

v:and yall searched him ?

she nodded and left us alone .silence covered the room before i spoke up 

v:what were you thinking man, you know what we have to do to people who cross us?

i asked him and he chuckled 

b: you wouldn't hurt a fly, always having others do your dirty work 

he replied back and i rolled my eyes 

i actually grew up with Bryce ,his father worked closely with mine for many years and we have been training partners since we were 6 but after his family died during an mission he blamed us for it and joined other mafias to give our secrets away and when he was old enough he made his own gang with his intelligence and athleticism they quickly grew in rank and been going after us for a while 

v:bad things will happen either way ,unless we can make a agreement ,stop the feuding and stay on our respective sides ,give back whatever you took 

b: yeah..no ,never actually 

i started getting frustrated ,i try very hard not let my morals effect the way i do my job in fear it would make people think I'm weak and start disrespecting me -which i cannot have ,bryce knows the rules of the mafia and the consequences of breaking them and he's been out there breaking every single one but i don't hate him even after everything he did . 

v:why do u hate me so much, what have i done to you?

b:you would never get it ,yall took everything from me 

he raised his voice and i reply with the same energy

v:we took you in ,we gave you whatever you wanted 

b: no ,i wanted my family, my mom 

he looked at me seriously at the mention of his mother ,they had the same relationship my mom and i had. she was extremely close to mine they were like best friends and we all chill together regularly just us kids and our moms. After she passed he took it hard and i tried to be there for him but ig he didn't see that

b:we used to have so much fun when we were young ,never wanted anything to do with all the guns, drugs ,and crooked business .before all that we were just some normal ass kids playing with our moms 

i smile slightly thinking of the "better days" 

v: just make the deal 

b: Vinnie i cant 

now that he refuses he leaves me no other choice but to put it in the inner councils hands 

which is my dad and his 2nd ,Reggie, Maddy ,Jordan and Jett ...and now Lola .

v: your forcing my hand here but i guess your ego and pride will forever cost more then your life  , I'm gonna speak to the council and start your trial ,I'm sorry it has to be like this

i said getting up and walking out to inform the council that we would have a meeting 

Jordan's room was the closest so i went there first when i knocked on the door Lola opened the door 

l: what you doin here?

she asked with an attitude ,i looked her in the eye and smirked 

v:what YOU doing here ?

l: i asked you first 

v: i came to tell Jordan and Maddy we have a council meeting tomorrow, then i was gonna go see what was up wit u 

m:jordan's in Jeff's room ,Lola is sleeping over 

v: no way your coming to bed with me 

m:  she can make her own decisions right Lola?

Maddy said from behind Lola , i gave Lola a pleading look .i don't want to start another fight i just want to go to sleep with her its been a long day .she rolled eyes at me 

l:yeah don't worry bout me its MY BUISNESS anyways 

she said quoting my words from our argument .she's still mad 

v: don't be like that ma , I'm sorry i was insensitive about the dan-

l:PROM!

she cut me off 

v:the prom and for raising my voice at you ,i don't want to see you upset so tell me what i gotta do to fix it 

l:well you can leave .I'm sleeping over here frfr 

v:you not mad right? you cant go to sleep if you mad at me?

l:no I'm still mad but you apologized so i forgive you 

v:ok but I'm not leaving until i get my goodnight kiss 

m:gross 

Maddy said she hadn't moved from behind Lola i just didn't notice her at all

l:fine 

she pecked my lips but i grabbed her by the neck and deepened it ,pulling her closer to me and biting her lip as i pulled away
