After we got off the jet , we drove to the "base" and were welcomed by a older man
And escorted to our rooms.

L: was that him?
I asked vinnie who was helping me unpack my stuff and he shook his head .

V: that is his number 2 , like how Reggie is mine . My father is much more terrifying
He said putting away the empty suitcase in the closet

L: I think this is a bad idea you said he can sense when people are lying

V: yeah he can so stop shaking like a maniac
Or your going to get us both killed

He took me outside the room on a balcony and sat with me on a beach chair that was there

V: all you need to do is pretend we are together, don't answer any personal questions and stick to the story

I nodded and he cuddled me

V: listen my dad ...he has this idea of what he  wants for my future. He wants me to have this bachelor lifestyle  and he thinks I'm too soft to be able to protect a wife and kids . I never tried to be in a relationship because of him but I still want to show him I can do it.
He explained his reasoning for his plan while playing with my hair I get off his chest and face him putting my legs between him

L: I understand you vinnie, my pops  killed himself when I was young my ma  was a gambler and a drunk. She would tell me that no one would ever love me because.... I didn't always look like this
I don't know what came over me but I just felt like opening up to him . He looked me in the eye then put his hand on my cheek

V: Lola you are beautiful, when I saw you I knew you were perfect . Your
smart ,hardworking and caring . Your mom is wrong ,Don't ever listen to what she said multiple people love you like your brother

He said looking at me ,I hugged him and thanked him when I pulled away from the hug i saw him leaning in before I could pull away his phone rang

V: excuse me a moment

He moved me and went back inside and came back moments later

V: my father is ready to meet you after you have to start training and your brother as well

L: I don't want him to join I want him to be safe

V: the training is self defense yk just incase , don't worry it
He said reaching for my hand and bringing me some room that was filled with men playing poker and smoking

?: hey there goes my boy , nice to see you Vincent
a man said to vinnie and shook his hair then he pointed his attention towards me

?: wow vinnie do you have no manners , I'm Freddy  what's your name girl?

L: I'm Lola

V: father this Is my girlfriend
He said looking at me .his father looked back at me then at him he started laughing for no reason

F: son, no need to be so serious all the time . Come take a seat play a game or 2
His father called someone to pull up a chair at the table and vinnie takes a seat ,puts me on his lap and starts playing with them

"Hey uncle Freddy how it's going" maddy said walking in the room with Reggie
