{Chapter 4}

~LOOK WHO'S ALIVE!!!!~

~Previously on: "Does It Hurt?"~

Hawks smiled. "Would you, maybe wanna feed her?" Hawks asked. Fuyumi nodded and they all left the room.

Once they got to the kitchen, Hawks started making the twins a bottle. "Okay, my little Mika, your big sister Fuyumi is gonna feed you, ok" Hawks said and gave Fuyumi the bottle. Endeavor grabbed the other and started feeding Mei.

After a while they were done feeding them and now burping them. A few minutes later, the babies burped and Hawks took the twins and took them to their room and sat down in a rocking chair. He started rocking in it and an hour later he was asleep with the twins in his arms.

~Few days later~

It had been a few days since Fuyumi, Todoroki and Natsuo found out, they left after the weekend was over and Endeavor had been working a lot. Hawks began feeling lonely and started getting annoyed. 

~Few hours later~

Endeavor had made it home late at night and Hawks was mad. Endeavor went into the kitchen to see a plate of food. Endeavor walked over and heated the food up then went into his and Hawks' room and laid down. 

~The next morning~

Endeavor woke up and didn't see Hawks. He got out the bed and went into the twins room and saw Hawks feeding them. "Morning birdie" Endeavor said, walking over and hugging Hawks. Hawks didn't answer he just ignored him and went back to feeding the girls.

Once Hawks was done feeding the twins he set down one and burped the other. Endeavor went over to the baby Hawks set down and picked her up, burping her.

It was Endeavors day off and he wanted to spend it with Hawks and the girls, but he had left to go hang with a friend. Endeavor felt saddened by the way Hawks was acting and hadn't noticed it but he had tears running down his face.

"Did I do something? Am I not good enough?" Endeavor asked, laying down on the couch. 

~Next day at 2 in the morning~

Endeavor had gotten up earlier and taken care of the girls before he took a nap, then got up and sat in the kitchen, with a dinner set up for him and Hawks, waiting for Hawks for hours until, it was 2 in the morning when Hawks came back. 

Hawks tip-toed into the house, trying not to wake up the girls and Endeavor.

Hawks sat down his shoes and walked past the kitchen and saw Endeavor sitting there with his head on the table sleep and a note and a box across from him.

Hawks walked into the kitchen and picked up the note and it read.

"Dear my annoying bird, 

I know I haven't been home a lot lately, and I apologize for it, so I decided to take care of the girls for you since you wanted to hang out with your friend, I wanted to spend my day off with you and the girls, have a picnic in the park.

I know, I know, it's stupid, and it won't make up for my absence, but I was going to propose to you in the park, since it was a beautiful day out, but not as beautiful as you looked in the outfit you had on, under the note, you'll find a box with two presents in there for you. 

Anyways, I made you and me a dinner, don't worry, I fed the girls and burped them before I made our food. I know you might not wanna talk to me but, I do love you, I just wanted to work really hard to get you and the girls anything you wanted, I know what your thinking. "Endeavor-san, your rich, you don't need to work hard" and I know you'll laugh while saying it.

But the money I have already is for the girls when they go to college and the house bills. I apologize for leaving you all by yourself everyday, I'm sorry and I love you.

I wanna ask, will you marry me tonight but...it looks like you won't be coming home right now, so I'll ask you tomorrow, I love you, my annoying bird.

Hawks was crying quietly as to not wake up everyone after he'd read the letter. He looked at the box and opened it and say two necklaces. Hawks gaped with happiness as he saw them, one with diamonds and the other with diamonds and a yellow ruby. 

Hawks put the gifts back into the box and grabbed the note and went upstairs and put the box on his vanity and went back downstairs and woke up Endeavor and helped him into the room and went to sleep with him.
