DH x OC: It's a One-Sided Love

Prompt: Character A attempts to tell Character B that she loves him through a song. But it turns out that Character B already found someone else.

Her breath staggers as she stares at the blinking cursor on the text box of her messaging app. Reine is so hesitant to tell Daniel about her bottled-up feelings toward the guy. Aside from him being 4 years her senior, there are rumors of him being with someone else around the net. Who wouldn't be so scared about telling someone about what you feel towards them when there are things like this going on?

For the past year, she and Daniel have been working alongside each other as actors in a television series. However, she's only a supporting character, and someone else has taken up the female lead. Disappointment towards herself was all she can feel whenever she remembers the table reading day where she had to watch them act like lovers. It's already a huge blow to her. It sounded petty, but that's what she felt up to this day.

Thanks to her friends who never stopped pestering her towards the decision of finally telling him her real feelings, she now has placed herself in this situation, staring at the empty text box, thinking thoroughly about how she will text him. Taking a deep breath, she finds that one song that made her remember Daniel.

"Hi... this song reminded me of you, just wanna tell you that I love you!" No. It's way too straightforward. Delete.

"Hi! Check this song out! Kinda remembered you when I heard this! It's in Filipino tho, just turn on CCs for you to understand it <3" This is better. Just need to add the time-lapse and the link to the song. 

Reviewing the text all over and over again. She hit send. The next thing she saw was Daniel smiling with some other girl right next to him, his arm protectively holding her, laughing at her stories. Reine could only just bite her inner cheeks in embarrassment, knowing she was doomed. Seeing he hasn't seen her messages yet, she deleted those messages with a heavy heart, unaware of the overflowing tears that were already falling.
