Further Developments

After Aoi's initial backstory and living life in the village, she has continued to stay hidden from Miranda and the lords, except for one of them. She has eventually gained the courage to seek out Donna in seclusion and speak to her. The first conversations between them were rather shy and not many words were exchanged except for Angie who wouldn't keep quiet which scared Aoi but after meeting up with Donna more and more, Aoi became used to Angie and she started to see Donna as her only friend in the village. Aoi always had a gut feeling from the very start that Donna had a sweet side and it turned out Aoi was right because to this day, Donna still hadn't tried to harm her or give her up to Miranda. Aoi usually visits House Beneviento once a week to maintain her cover and to prevent her from getting spotted or raising suspicion. Donna seems to be super happy whenever she and Aoi meet. Aoi feels like she might be one of Donna's only friends and the only lord who isn't hostile towards her. When Aoi isn't with Donna, she's usually out to gather more supplies, hunt for food, and most importantly...To stay away from Miranda and the other three lords. Technically speaking, you could consider Aoi a part of Miranda's "family" since she survived the cadou implementation and has gained a unique ability but Aoi, like Heisenberg, wants nothing to do with Miranda and wants to use her ability for good rather than evil. After several months of living in the village at mainly House Beneviento, Donna decided to sew a pair of cute new socks and gloves for her friend to match her dragon form, which Donna really liked. She also gave Aoi a new pink armband with the Japanese Student Council text as well as paw pads on the bottom of her shoes. Aoi quickly adopted the new looks that Donna had designed for her as her default new appearance! While she sometimes may wear her old gloves or stockings, Aoi prefers to stick with Donna's design for most of the time! As for the Umbrella Corp. tattoo, Donna set up a meeting between Aoi and Karl Heisenberg after months of Aoi living in the village since Donna believed Karl had no interest in harming Aoi as they both didn't like Miranda. To Aoi's greatest surprise, the meeting went well and Karl isn't that bad after all. He even built Aoi a machine in House Beneviento so that she could visit her friends back at Akademi whenever she wanted and her friends could then also travel to the village to meet with Aoi there too! He also helped Aoi get her Umbrella tattoo. It seems now that Karl could be scrapped off the hostilities list for Aoi.
