AU where the Fall of Beacon didn't happen, and Team RWBY are on a mission. On it, Ruby is encountered by a newly hatched animal, and at first, she drives it away, but at graduation, a Massive, Unidentified Terrestrial Object, M.U.T.O., and it attack...
After finding out about Monarch, Team RWBY was sent for a mission in the Emerald Forest. The Grimm activity had actually dropped over the last four years. Now, there had been little to zero Grimm found through out the forest.
"I wonder what it was that made them disappear?" asked Yang.
"Grimm aren't afraid of anything," said Weiss, "So why start now?"
"I'm pretty sure it's not Humans and Faunus that they're afraid of," said Blake.
Just then, the brush was pushed aside, and then, they saw a body. It was a Grimm, but it wasn't disintegrating at all. It almost looked like it had been eaten as a carcass.
"What.... the..... hell!?" asked Yang.
"Nothing should be able to eat Grimm," said Ruby, "They just turn to ash as soon as they die!"
Just then, a shifting was heard, and from the ground, came a massive animal!!

All of Team RWBY took off, and the creature actually noticed them!!
Ruby stumbled, and the animal looked down at her. It opened it's jaws, but stopped. It sniffed Ruby, and looked at her.

Ruby looked in fear, and the animal actually licked her, and picked her up to her feet by her hood.
"You, remember me?"
The animal then smiled, and Ruby reached out. She held her breath and closed her eyes. The animal slowly came up, and pressed it's chin against Ruby's hand. Ruby looked, and was shocked.
"Wait, that Monarch....."
Flash.....
"We call him..... Godzilla."
"You're that Godzilla," said Ruby.
Godzilla nodded, and Ruby was shocked at the intelligence this animal showed.
"Wow," said Ruby, "You can really understand me?"
Just then, WBY appeared, and saw Ruby still alive, and seemed to have tamed the beast.
Ruby looked over at them, and said, "I..... should probably explain."
"Yes, missy," said Yang.
"Okay," said Ruby, "It all started when we had that mission in Mt. Glenn, and I fell through that hole. Down there, before I was caught by the White Fang, I found this egg. It was the size of a small car, and it hatched. Inside, was this guy. I was the only thing around at the time, so, I think he imprinted on me."
"So, this is that creature you met?" asked Weiss, "It's what? 3-4 years old?"
"Yeah, and I don't even know if it's fully grown. Maybe we should ask Serizawa if we can get any information."
"Well, just how are we supposed to keep this thing safe?" asked Blake, "That thing looking at you like a dog wanting to go home Ruby."
"He, is not a thing, Blake, he's an animal. Just, misunderstood is all."
Soon, Team RWBY had decided to check on Godzilla every now and then. For now, he was their secret. At least, to them they thought.
