Marie was in her shared room with William, sewing a blanket for the baby when a sharp pain shot through her stomach. She groaned and felt her baby kicking violently, her eyes widened when she realized... she went to the window and banged on the glass to get the attention of Tavington who was outside with his Dragoons.

The Colonel looked up and saw her knocking on the glass, fearing the worst, he ran inside and up the stairs to get to her. Marie laid on the bed, turning around in pain.

"What's wrong?"

"The baby..." She howled in pain, "It's coming!"

"Oh bloody hell!"

Marie covered her mouth to prevent herself from screaming in pain, the midwife, a young woman named Zoe, ran in with towels and things that were needed to deliver a baby. The contractions were too much for her.

"Colonel, we need you to exit-" Zoe guided the man out of the room, Marie shook her head.

"No! No, no, let him stay," She begged her midwife, Zoe nodded her head and William went to her side.

After a long 30 minutes of pushing, screaming, and squeezing Tavington's hand so tight it felt like it was going to break. Marie gave birth to a set of healthy twins whom they named Caroline and Henry. While she rested, Tavington held his daughter close to his chest, Henry slept in his crib.

"Nothing is ever going to hurt you... little one. Not while I'm around," He kisses her forehead and sets her down in her crib and smiled, "I will protect you both till the end of my life."

Word got around quickly that Marie gave birth to twins, Lord Cornwallis was announced the godfather of the babies. Daisy was a happy older sister, she leaned over the crib as Marie sang a lullaby to her babies, the dog tilted her head to the side and wagged her tail at the small humans. Tavington picked Daisy up and set her inside the crib with Henry and Caroline, she curled up and snuggled next to the babies, her tail wagging more.

"Colonel Tavington and Marianne Castevet had twins, they're living at Middleton place, they were born two weeks ago."

"That so?"

"I know you want your revenge, Mr. Martin and I want mine. That man tore your life apart just as much as he did mine."

"Well then, thank you for the information General O'Hara."
