(The day before the come back or well just the day before)

It was a cold night in London where Dan Humphrey lived for the last three years almost four. He was drinking his black coffee while writing a new chapter of his new novel that was still with him only for no one to see it for now. He was content with his new life, being considered by most the best writer of his generation was one of his biggest accomplishments and today in the morning he was talking with the only person that he still leads with, the only person that found him somehow and the one person he truly cared about. They always had those calls at night today they had it in the day time and spend most of their day texting each other. This day was a really normal day for him until..... well you guys will get to see that soon but for now let's go back to the beginning once again.

(Flash Back)

The night after the graduation, Dan was devastated he had his plan well made now for his next step to achieve his new goal but that doesn't mean he wasn't hurt by the facts of his life at the moment. First the person he was so desperately in love with since he was sixteen had left town with some man and their escaped was being documented by many paparazzis so he had to see her living her best life as always and being what he was the ex that always waits for her like a well trained puppy; Second his mom, okay I admit this is an old one but it still hurt for him to think that his mom just left saying it was for her job and than cheated on his dad and he never did tell her in the face what his feelings were, at some point he only cared about how this would affect his sister because his feelings towards his mom were slowly fading away all of them or at least he made himself believe that, his father didn't help much since he was in love with his old high school girlfriend and never did nothing to make it better, his dad never confronted his mom to put an end to that endless situation that was destroying their family ; Third and well mentioned in the second his dad was in love with Serenas mother, that was not that bad he wanted his dad to be happy of course but somehow it wasn't the thing that he needed to be doing at the moment this family was going down he needed to pay more attention on his kids and their home but well that doesn't matter right now he isn't gonna be here; Fourth his sister was really going down with this whole bullshit that they lived in but he had fate on her she would end up making her own path and doing what she likes to do and hopefully be happy; Fifth last but not least NATE ARCHIBALD who destroyed his whole future well again it wasn't exactly Nate but his Grandfather but than again Nate could have done something about it, this whole thing was unfair and the only one that was damaged was him but who cared about poor lonely boy? No one. That night something important happened, he was going to follow his plan but first he had to get a couple of drinks and a last night in New York before he left this city that at the moment was just a bunch of bad memories for him. Dan went to a bar he didn't even know where but he went there and while he was drinking he saw someone. Blair. Blair Cornelia Waldorf was in the same bar as him, the person he once said was basically everything he hated about the Upper East Side distilled into one 95-pound, doe-eyed, bonmot-tossing, label-whoring package of girly evil right there in front of him. Moments after that he noticed he was staring at her and looked at the opposite direction, right then someone put a hand on his shoulder and said.

- Look who we have got here, it's Humphrey. Did no one ever tell you it's rude to stare at people? -said Blair with the same tone that she had with him since the day they met-

- Waldorf. It's good to see you too. And I wasn't staring I just spaced out -responded Dan without much thinking-

- One more glass of whatever he is drinking and a cocktail for me -she said to the bar man, before sitting besides him-

- Wow I must be really drunk for Queen B to be sitting beside me in a bar and is paying me a drink -said Dan laughing, he was a little bit drunk already that for sure-
