"Wake up. Lizzy wake up!" My best friend Zoe shouted from the door.

Zoe is my best friend since sixth grade and today is the first day of our Senior year at Hollow High.

"What time is it?" I ask Zoe followed by a yawn.

"Its time for you to get ready."

I didn't really think that if I let Zoe sleepover, she would've been the one to wake me up. She's usually a heavy sleeper. I stretched out my arms and I laid down trying to go back to sleep. She throws a pillow at me and takes the covers off of me.

"Lizzy, come on, I want to get to school early so I can see Liam." She whines while shaking me.

"Didn't you see him yesterday?" I ask while entering the bathroom.

Zoe has been dating a boy since freshman year. It was an odd start since they both hated each other when Liam made fun of her One Direction long sleeve. But it actually turned out that he was just jealous that she had it and he didn't.

"Yes I saw him yesterday but... Um.. Are you ready yet?" Zoe says impatiently trying to change the topic of the conversation.

"I won't hurry if you keep hurrying me," I teased her.

Zoe had picked several clothes for me to wear. I really didn't need her to choose for me but it's not like refusing her will be any better. She told me to put some black skinny jeans and a black and white shirt.

My phone starts vibrating. Zoe looks at it and sees Lycia's name.

"Oh crap. Lizzy, you have to hurry up. We need to go pick up Lycia. She's already blowing both of our phones up," Zoe says while checking herself in the mirror.

Lycia is also my best friend. I've also known her since sixth grade. She is the nicest person I have ever met. She is always there for me in the bad and good times. I had met her when she sat with Zoe in lunch, we started talking and realized we had so many things in common.

"Zoe can you get my black Toms out of the closet?" I asked her while calling Lycia on my phone.

I had finally finished getting ready. Zoe and I head out while my little sister Lasana followed behind us. My mother was wishing us luck while we were getting in the car. She was standing in front of the door with a simple, but sweet smile.
