The School Player

Chapter 3

As soon as we left the drive way we went to drop off my sister at Spring Middle School.

"Lasana, good luck on your first day of middle school." I told her as she got out of the car with a big smile.

"Don't let the big kids pick on you!" Zoe shouts from the window.

"Don't listen to her, Lasana, she's just messing with you, she's a complete idiot," I tell her making her laugh as she waves goodbye.

Zoe and I head to Lycia's place. Nothing is better than going to the Gray's resident, they are the sweetest people you can ever meet. Their home has paintings that have been in their family for generations.

We decide to go inside and look for Lycia. Her mother opens the door as soon as we ring the door bell.

"Lycia will be down in any minute, do you want anything?" Mrs.Gray asks as she takes off her apron.

Mrs.Gray is a really good cook. I remember that when I spent the night at Lycia's place she made some Pasta for dinner and Nutella brownies for dessert. We ate in peace that night, as we finished eating I helped her clean the table, I asked her if she could teach me how to make those delicious brownies.

"You can come over anytime and I'll be more than happy to teach you," she tells me with a kind smile in her face. I remember this day like if it was last week.

"Can I have bagels with cream cheese?" Zoe asks, of course, she loves eating, especially Mrs.Grays food.

She goes to the kitchen to get Zoe's bagels. Its fifteen minutes and Lycia is still not ready. Zoe is almost done both bagels, she whispers to me, "where is Lycia? I want to see Liam."

I see Lycia coming down the stairs, finally. She's wearing light blue skinny jeans with a flower a shirt that barely covers her bellybutton. Her purple hair is wavy and long, she's wearing a black hair band with skulls on it.

"It took you long enough," of course Zoe says this with a mad tone. "School starts at 8:20 and it's only 7:48, you have enough time to your lover."
