I heard Mike and father saying their goodbyes.
Than when the front door closed, my dad walked into my room.

Dad smiled he crossed his arms, he said with a smirk, "you and Mike are a thing now!"
I yelled, "no, there are 2 reasons for that. One, Mike and I met yesterday and Two, after my relationship with Zeke, I thought men weren't for me."
"So your gonna go back to dating women?"
"No women are too complicated."
My father sighed, he said with a stern tone, "Look Erwin, you can't give up just dating one guy. You dated at least 20 girls, and you decide women aren't for you, and you date one guy and all of a sudden your not into men! How does that work out."
He gave me some reassurance and continued, "well, I think you should give Mike a chance, Once you get know him a bit better you can give him a chance. But if Mike is not for you, Mike is not for you, it doesn't mean you should stop looking."
Than he walked out of my room closing the door. I sighed, turned off the console and went back to studying.
I thought to myself, maybe I should give women a second chance. But I decided against it. My father was right. If I have one bad experience with a guy shouldn't put me off from men.
I was told that my mother dated a lot of bad men before she married my father, so maybe I thought that I should give Mike a chance, once I get to know him.
