"Waiting"
Just like how the stars twinkle, seen from the night sky,
Your eyes shimmer with glitter.
Your kindness and conviction
Became my number one reason to find a solution.
And the feeling that I thought was once lost.
Has now been restored unto me by what you would call "love".
Oh how I am longing for your return even though a week hasn't passed yet.
How I'm sitting here praying, hoping that a text message from you would come with a simple hi just like how we met.
It's funny that this has enabled me to move forward and gain success in life.
So that on the day of your return, you'll have someone to come back to.
And just like how you've always done for me,
I will be here, waiting.
