Ningguang walked up onto the Crux. As much as confused as I was, she gestured for me to come with her. Judging by the number of fingers she was holding up, she wanted to talk to me.
"Stay there," I said to Kazuha, Aether and Paimon. They nodded and started chatting.
I walked with Ningguang into my quarters.
"So, what's this about?", I asked.
Ningguang paused for a moment then said, "I would like to make an offer."
I was taken aback for a second. Ningguang, making offers? "What is it?", I replied.
"I've heard that you are taking Aether all around Teyvat. So, I would like to discuss the deal you mentioned at the Lantern Rite", Ningguang said.
"I.....I see...." I said. I remember that deal way too well.
Past Lantern Rite:
"The sky's nice, isn't it?", Ningguang murmured.
"Yeah....", I said, in awe. I turned over to Ningguang. She was smiling as the fireworks were shot into the air.
"So, on this special day, may I make a proposal Lady Ningguang?" I asked her.
Ningguang blushed but said, "Of course".
"Is it ok if I get closer to you tonight?", I asked. "Surely she knows what I mean.....", I thought.
Ningguang started to blush so hard that she started to cover her face and said, "I'll.....think about it."
The lanterns were high in the sky by now but people were still watching both the lanterns and fireworks. Keqing was watching them with Aether and Paimon. Xinyan was performing her new song. Chongyun and Xingqiu were with Madame Ping and Yanfei, admiring the fireworks. Xiao was nowhere to be seen. All of Liyue was enjoying the Latern Rite but as my thoughts almost drifted away, I heard a joyous yell.
"HAPPY LANTERN RITE!", everyone exclaimed. I smiled. Every year of the Lantern Rite was the best time of the year.

Back to present time:
I sighed. "Your point exactly?", I demanded.
Ningguang took a moment of silence and then said, "My point is I'll accept the deal when you return." My eyes widened in shock.
"Th-thank you.", I said studdering. As she left, I just stood in place smiling. Wow...Ningguang is so- BAM!
The door opened suddenly to reveal Kazuha, smiling, Aether, hands over his mouth and Paimon, excited.
"Were you spying on me?", I said, embarrassed.
"NEVER MIND THAT-" exclaimed Paimon, "IS IT TRUE??? YOU GUYS ARE GONNA GO ON A DATE AFTER WE COME BACK?"
Kazuha POV:
I smiled. At last, the Captin has found something to occupy her.
"I'm proud of you, Captin Beidou", I murmured.
That's when Paimon whispered that we should surprise Beidou. Aether was trying to say no to Paimon but before he could, Paimon opened Beidou's door with a huge sound of BAM!
Beidou looked embarrassed at the sight of us.
"Were you spying on me?", she said, her face red.
"NEVER MIND THAT- IS IT TRUE?? YOU GUYS ARE GONNA GO ON A DATE AFTER WE GO ON A DATE AFTER WE COME BACK??", Paimon exclaimed.
Beidou mumbled something but we all understood what she meant. I turned to Aether and Paimon and said, "The Captin needs her privacy. Please proceed to making a plan for a tour in Mondstadt." They nodded and headed away.
"Thanks for taking my cover, Kazuha", Beidou said, chuckling.
"It's my pleasure to always take your cover, Captin", I said.
"OK WE'RE BACK!!", said a voice which we both recognized to belong to Paimon.
"Off we go then!" Beidou called out.
"YES CAPTIN!" the whole crew said.
Aether's POV:
The trip was very refreshing but then at some point, Piamon said, "Aether....I'm not feeling good..."
Turns out Paimon did actually get seasick. So, we let her throw up in the ocean, then, I pushed her off the deck. After that chaos,(with Paimon anchored back on deck) Mondstadt came into view.
We had arrived at the City of Freedom.
(A/N: Hello⁓ Ok so I was giggling SO HARD when I was writing the Lantern Rite. Also-IM TRYING to make chapters longer and stuff. After all-I still suck at story writing but I really hope you enjoyed it so far!: D)
