~Because Shirayuri and her Zanpakuto are 'one of the same soul' she can't be poisoned by any flower or plant, hers or natures.

Shikai- Doku no hana-> Flower of Poison or Poison Flower

-During Shikai Zanpakuto turns into vine-like sword that when touches someone attaches to them, wrapping them, cutting them, and growing poisonous flowers which send poison into the body on the made cuts, causing systems instantly.

-Systems include nausea, vomiting, loss of breath and sight, or blacking out, depending on which color or flower she uses.

-The only cure is with Shirayuri and can not be duplicated.

Bankai- Hana no shi-> Death of Flower or Flower Death

-During Bankai Zanpakuto is dropped into the earth giving Shirayuri full control or any and all plants, which turn into the chosen flower plant. She directs the plants with the hilt of her Zanpakuto or gains twice as much speed when using hand or fingers to direct.

-In battle flower causing instant death when cut by a pedal or when the flower lands on you.

Appearance: Shirayuri is a short girl with a cheerful appearance. She has black and white hair that almost reaches her hip which she usually leaves down unless fighting or getting too hot. Her hair also seems to be cut at the top like kitty ears, much like Yoruichi's but higher and tend to stick up, making her look much like a kitty, she only has this hair cut after a lose bet with Yoruichi. She has bright blue-green eyes with a black circle around outside and a small yellow circle in the middle, natural pink cheeks and red lips. She wears the normal looking Shinigami uniform pants which comes up to slightly above her hip, her top is more like a low hang white, thick strapped tank top that stops before her belly button, the top black part has a zipper that can be zipped to her throat or off all the way. The black over top is loose and shows the white under-top. She wears a tie around her upper left arm(which is a hair tie in case of a battle where she needs to put her hair up) under her lieutenants badge and wears small black gloves that stop at her wrists. She also wears her Zanpakuto by her obi which hangs loosely and goes down on her right hip from the weight of her sword, and is above the hip on her left. She is skinny but not bony, big bust, not like Rangiku, like almost DD but not quiet, she has muscles but not seen clearly making her look weak almost to her opponents.

Personality: Shirayuri is a calm and collected person for her age, she tends to be seen as cocky with her knowledge but she feels she's merely stating the facts. She is also a laid-back person who likes to have fun and drink. She likes to joke around but knows when to be serious, to most she seems to mind her own business and be off in her own world, but to those very close they know she is always listening, even to the most boring of things, that's just how her mind works, hearing things even when not paying attention to the conversation. She is well known to sneak up on people, especially with Kaien Shiba, a boy almost like a brother who was and is considered a prodigy like herself. She has respect for everyone even if they are lower or above her rank, she seems to treat everyone the same, including idiots and suspicious people. She is seen as easy going and free spirited towards most of the Gotei 13, allowing people to feel comfortable talking to her. Most joke and say she's Jushiro's sister for the shared part of hair and personality, but in reality his personality wore off on her through the time spent together when she first joined the Seireitei.

History: When Shirayuri was just a young girl, no older than 3, Unohana Retsu found her when she was climbing a mountain somewhere throughout Rukongai collecting medical herbs. Retsu took pity on the small child all alone in the middle of a mountain. (Retsu gave the child the name of White Lily because she had found the child in a small field of lilies and her hair was part white...)She secretly takes her in and teaches her the ways of being a soul reaper. She at first did not plan on her being so good, but eventually she could not teach the child anymore than she had. As to not be found out Shirayuri had become a complete master in hiding her spirit energy and often impressed Retsu with it. (...she give the child the last name after seeing her skills at such a young age)Eventually Retsu was found out by head captain Yamamoto but after seeing her skills decides it would be best to just in role her as a genius, as she was in Shir'o Academy so it didn't look to be suspicious when she officially joined the Seireitei.

She holds the spot for youngest Shinigami and least time to graduate, though that information is secret and most people think she was there all 6 years, that is the graduates that know she joined half way through her sixth year. Sometime while there Jushiro recognizes her great skill but also notices she doesn't know much about relaxing, which he 'teaches' her over time spending time with the young girl helping her to loosen up and not be so uptight all the time.

After graduation she goes into squad four as a third seat, later joining squad two as the fourth seat as a favor to Yoruichi, where she changed the look of her outfit. Then finally joined squad seven as a lieutenant. After joining she was sent on missions no one else really wanted, the last as she comes back from was a mission that was intended to take two years for a normal Shinigami took her a month, was to kill the recently large amount of hollows in the middle of a desert.
