Part 4

Throughout the day, I waited until my eighth period lunch came to leave. Everything went well, including being evasive with the partial hickey he left.

AJ kept texting me, asking if I was ok or he felt as though something was up. Which was extremely weird, but I felt as though I was over reacting.

Walking around in the last few minutes of seventh, I see Jonathan again. He completely ignores me, Talking to whatever girl was near. But I couldn't get Mad, he wasn't mine and I wasn't his.

New Text : AJ

I just ignored him. It was getting a little too weird all of a sudden. He texts me everytime I'm close or nearby Jonathan.

My best friend, Ciara, pounces on me. Quickly averting my eyes from my phone or Jonathan, I hug her back.

"Hey bitch "

" Sup hoe! ".

" I seen you eyeing Jonathan just now. What's up with that? ", she says nudging me

" He's not my maaaan. I don't care what he does", I say laughing. My phone starts ringing. Before I could look at it, she snatches it out from my pocket and answers.

"Hello oooo?... Yeah..... This is her sister...Hiiii... Well not at all... Sure... Are you her boyfriend?.... Oh really, thanks.... I'll see soon then... Ok bye". She passes me back my phone.

"What did he say?", I tried reading her face. She looked confused and started laughing.

"Well.. I'm not supposed to say but he's coming here tomorrow to surprise you". My heart suddenly pounced hard. Jonathan was now walking besides us and put his arm around me.

Ciara took this as a cue and left winking at me .

"So Nay I've been thinking mad hard lately about you and I was hoping you could chill out with me tomorrow", he says smoothly.

"But why tomorrow though? Why not Friday instead? I'm busy tomorrow". Jonathan let his arm down and pulled me to a corner of the Hall.

"Because... You just. I don't know... You just making me feel mad types of ways ". He starts playing with my hair, Ignoring his attempt I still insisted Friday.

I'm still wondering about AJ whether it would really hit off between us, it will give me enough time to still choose Jonathan.

" Alright bet, Friday. But come close wanna tell you something ". I leaned in, and he started biting my ear slowly. Before I got too caught up, I pushed him away.

" Stop it, I told you what that does to me". But I like it, so keep going.

"No You didn't, but watch Friday". I walked away, grabbed my book bag and left the school building. On the bus ride home, I waited patiently for AJ to call. Deep down, I didn't know if I would answer.

As quickly as I could, I tried to make time fly by quicker. Hoping this trip would be over. As soon as I got into the house, I texted AJ and let him know I was Home.

He starting Face timing me, and I answered. Hoping he wouldn't spread his thumb over the camera again, a face suddenly popped up.

It Wasn't AJ but he looked pretty decent enough to play his part.

Still wasn't AJ...

"HI, is uhh AJ there?? ".

" Yeah, that's me"...
