Chapter 3: Advice

The group of young heroes walked through Chicago.

"Hey Duncan, do you know where the closest bus depot is?" Ben asked Duncan.

"A few blocks that way. Why?" Said Duncan.

Ben dialed up the Omnitrix and slammed it down.

"Jetray!" Yelled Ben as he transformed into Jetray.

Jetray was a red and yellow humanoid manta ray like alien that can fly.

Ben flew off in the direction Duncan pointed. After a few minutes a black and green bus drove up to the group.

"That's a strange looking bus." Said Rainbow.

The door to the bus opened.

"Get in." Said the bus in Ben's voice.

"Ben? You transformed into a bus?" Said Duncan.

"No. I transformed into an alien that can Upgrade the bus." Said Ben.

The group got in the Ben bus and took their seats.

"Alright hold on!" Said Ben.

Rocket jets formed at the back of the bus and Ben blasted out of Chicago. Rainbow sat down next to Rex.

"So you're fast too." Said Rainbow.

"Yea. I've loved running all my life but my parents made me hate it." Said Rex.

"How?" Asked Rainbow.

"They just wanted me to be in the stupid olympics." Said Rex.

Rainbow looked confused.

"A big sporting event that people only do for fame and silly metals." Said Rex.

"Ah. Yeah, sports are supposed to be fun." Said Rainbow.

Rex looked at Rainbow's clothes.

"Looks like you like sports." Said Rex.

"Yea I'm the most awesome player at my school!" Said Rainbow.

"I'm the fastest runner at my school. And that was before I got my powers." Said Rex.

"That's pretty awesome too!" Said Rainbow.

Water Hazard sat with Fluttershy.

"This has been one of the craziest days ever." Said Water Hazard.

Fluttershy looked at Water Hazard timidly.

"Yes I guess it is." Said Fluttershy.

"This morning I got ready for my final test in the Orishan military and now I'm on an alien planet with a group of strangers trying to save it." Said Water Hazard.

"Yes it is a very strange day." Said Fluttershy.

"You don't talk much do you." Said Water Hazard.

"I'm very shy. Once I get to know someone I get more comfortable around them." Said Fluttershy.

"Well take all the time you need." Said Water Hazard.

Duncan and Twilight sat next to each other.

"So that was weird what happened earlier when we touched hands." Said Duncan.

Twilight just nodded her head and continued looking down. A tear fell from Twilight's eye.

"Are you alright?" Asked Duncan.

Twilight looked at Duncan with tears in her eyes.

"No. I'm not alright. Right before we got here I watched my brother get his heart ripped out of his chest! I think the shock just wore off." Said Twilight as she continued to cry.
