Loved and Lost

Chapter 1

3 wolves roamed through the wolves in Australia, unknowingly wandering onto The Hemming brothers territory. These wolves were more aggressive than anyone was used too, and they were also all brothers. They weren't trying to look for trouble, but rather they were trying to find their sister, Lauren, to tell her that their mom had died. They didn't know that Lauren was engaged to Mia's son, Keaton, and currently pregnant with his son, and if they did.. they would most certainly go off the deep end.

Justin smelled the 3 wolves late at night on the night Sariba left to go back to living with her brother. He had woken up Griffin and Carter and they all phased into the woods to search for the 3 intruders who had accidentally wandered onto their territory. Although tired, Griffin and Carter dragged their paws behind the middle Hemmings brother in search of the rogues, when they came upon what looked to be the youngest of the 3 they smelt. He was a small brown wolf with brown eyes, but remained a tough posture. Griffin bared his teeth at the young wolf and made himself look large, when two larger wolves jumped from behind the young wolf and attacked the brothers. The four wolves fought until Justin came out of where he was looking, and saw the scene before him. He looked over at the young wolf, who was looking down in shame, knowing he caused the fight before him. Justin went behind a tree and shifted back to his human form, before yelling at the four brothers that were fighting over the land. "Oui! Stop fighting!" Justin yelled causing all the wolves to stop and look at him.

They all went behind trees and phased back, and the two rogues who fought with Griffin and Carter were identical twins. Their younger brother had the facial shape of a Dorito, but you could tell that he was weaker than his brothers. "Who are you." Griffin growled, earning an elbow in the ribs from Justin, who was frustrated with his brothers for trying to attack a child. "I'm Jai.. and these are my brothers Jake and Beau." Jai said with a tone that proved he had authority but it didn't seem like he had a pack of his own. Carter just raised an eyebrow, silently asking why they were on their land. Jake, the twin to Jai, stepped forward to explain better. "We are looking for our little sister, Lauren.. we didn't mean to wander onto land that was taken." Jake said rather nicely and with good explanation. Justin who has heard the name before stopped them mid conversation. "Wait.. Lauren who?" Justin asked out of curiosity. Jai stepped forward threateningly, thinking his sister was with them, when she wasn't. "Brooks.. why is she here." He growled again, earning a warning look from his twin brother, who was the only one calm at the moment.

Carter just chuckled earning confused looks from all three brothers. "No.. she's in the northern vampire kingdom with her fiancé." Carter said informing the brothers. Beau hearing the information, shrinked in size seeing Jai fume at the information of his sister being engaged to a vampire. Jake looked at him with complete worry, but they didn't realize that her fiancé was half wolf. "Keaton isn't full vampire. He's hybrid." Justin said trying to calm the older wolf down. It didn't really help though, considering she was obviously surrounded by vampires. It wasn't the Hemmings business, but Jai had imprinted on Lauren and he was her rightful mate. She belonged to him, but that wasn't why he was looking for her. Jake sighed seeing the look in his brothers eyes, and looked at the other Australians in front of them. "How do we get there.." Jake said softly. Carter nodded and went to call Sariba for some help to get the wolves to the vampire kingdoms.
