I look at her as the rain hits the floors in thuds just as how my heart felt as I saw her after 5 years later. Both of us 21 and stupid, as she sat in the place we had our first kiss together. She smiled a weak smile as tears roll down her face.
My heart started ponding and before I knew what had happened, we both were running to each other as if we couldn't breathe if we were separated.
I held her in an embrace as soon as she was near, and she held onto me back.
"Razi..." She says while holding her breath.
"Don't," I say as I place my hand on her cheek.
I look at her with tears in my eyes as her eyes reciprocated the same feeling. I pull her in closer and place my lips upon hers as I whisper "Sorry" while pulling away.
"No, I understand" she said smiling while looking back at me.
I held her in an embrace again and place a kiss upon her forehead.
"You know what we should do after this?" I say smirking.
She looks at me in a bright smile and nods in disappointment while asking "what?"
"Well, I think maybe I'll tell you in the hotel room." I say chuckling.
She smiles and nods in my chest while holding me tight. I hold onto her back and then while holding her hand I walk her to my car as we drove off to spend the night together in the cold New York summer rain.
