Eighth grade. The very first day. Probably the most surprising thing happened. I was just talking to another friend, Wolfe. Then, she sat with us. Emily. I forgot that they was friends since it has been awhile from being at school.
We, to my surprise, started talking to each other. Actually having fun speaking to one another. After that, so many things happened. I would say most of it, but this is a mini biography and I don't have permission for the information. The main thing was, me and Emily were finally close friends. Well, I guess you could say more than close friends, but I'd say close friends to make it more simple.
This should be around the Summer after eighth grade. My friend, now step-brother, gave me a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2. The disks allow one to play the game, but not download it. So, in that case, Emily and I traded so I could download the game, then trade again so I can get my original disks back. One day I asked her if she could get Red Dead Redemption 2 Online (RDR2O). She could after about a week.
Her and I played the game together pretty often, and had fun. One day a person with the gamertag "ClueUprise" shown up in the game. They followed us for a bit, but I did not really pay too much attention to them. The next day, Emily introduced me to him, because she talked to him while I was offline. For some odd reason he was actually kind of like me.
Emily agreed. "I guess, that's kinda why we just clicked," she said. This is the part of the story where I wish I knew what was wrong with me before it all happened. After more time, more people joined Emily and Clue. I started playing less and less. So many mistakes were made from me.
I can't go into detail with the mistakes, but they were all my fault. Guess you'll just have to trust me on that. At this time of the story it's finally around the middle, pretty close to the end, of ninth grade. This part of the story might not seem much to you, but it hurts me a bit every time I mention it. The main reason is, because... it was me who brought this all up.
I was able to get on the game one day. Clue and Emily was on the game together. It has become normal for him and her to go online without even asking me. They always said I could just join whenever, but they knew I wasn't that type of person. I always hated joining voice chats without being invited first, even until this day. I seen them in-game; they left me standing there. Pretty ironic now that I think about it.
The only thing I can say is that jealousness took over. Envy. I don't know what happened to me at that moment. Sadly, I did not realize what I've said until it was already over. She left me. Well, more like I left her. The texts. All my fault.
They, Emily and Vy, always told me to go take therapy. I ignored them. I didn't realize then that I have uncontrollable emotional problems. I'm not trying to say that to give me a way to sound nonguilty, because I am. I never listened. That was my downfall.
It's crazy. I lost the closest friend I ever had in the world. Over a damn game. Well, I guess that just shows how pathetic I really am. You're not able to have all the details, sadly, but that's about it. If I was able to add the other stuff, this book could've been a lot more interesting. Maybe, this story could've actually been worth something. Just, maybe.

That's Life
Short StoryThis is my very first book. It's a mini biography that isn't done very well. I just randomly made it and did not really think about it. At first it was going to be my look on life and my look on certain philosophies. Then, it was completely changed...
