Y/N POV
So Emerson and I have known each other for a long time. We had met during warped tour and I was in the crowd of one of their shows and we made eye contact immediately and since then, I have been Emerson's rock and I met the other boys and I had become friends with them but I was more close to Emerson than the rest of the boys. I met all the tour crew and staff that were with the boys throughout the tour and we all became one happy family.
It was two weeks into warped tour that I started to catch feelings for Emerson and this was when I was touring with them since Emerson waned me to join them on tour because he wanted me to be around all the time and pepper, his little bundle of joy was on tour with them also and I helped Emerson watch pepper while he was on stage or doing soundcheck and as the tour went on, my feelings for Emerson became stronger but I didn't know if he would feel the same way. As tour finished, I was thinking about what Emerson might do if he had feelings for me or if he asked me out on a date but the more I thought about it, the more nervous I got.
Emerson's POV
I couldn't get my eyes off of Y/N. I knew I had feelings for her but I'm scared because I didn't know if she felt the same way. It was the end of the tour and I had this whole date planned out that was gonna include my baby pepper of course. I have this place back home that no one knows about not even my brothers that I go to when I need some time to myself. I felt like it was time to show her my safe place and I hope she feels the same way and what I had gathered up was lights, petals that lead the way inside, and a picnic and at the end of the date, I'm gonna tell my feelings for her at sunset on the beach. The beach is the perfect place to ask her to be my girlfriend but I need my brothers' help in setting everything up.
I tried to figure out what to say to Y/N to ask her to go on a date with me but I was having trouble on what to say to her so I decided to ask Remington for help.
"Hey Remmy, can you come here for a second? I need to talk to you" Emerson calls Remington who was somewhere in the house that they all lived in together.
Remington comes into Emerson's room that was covered in drawings on the walls that he did himself in his room.
"Hey Emerson what's going on? Are you okay? Remington asks getting a worried tone in his voice.
"Yeah I'm fine I just need your help in how I'm supposed to ask Y/N out on a date with me so that I can confess my feelings for her also I need you and Sebastian's help in setting everything up."
"I'll help you out and I'll get Sebastian to help me set everything up so it's ready for tonight when you ask her to officially be your girlfriend." Remington says as he goes to get Sebastian out of the basement to help him set everything up.
"Thanks guys, you're the best." Emerson says as he hugs his brothers and he goes to his room to pick out an outfit for the plans he has tonight.
It's now inching closer until the whole plan that Emerson came up with is put into action and Emerson and Y/N were getting ready for their date which Emerson did ask her out beforehand and she said yes. Everything was set up and where it needed to be for the date and everything Emerson wanted was good to go. The other boys will come out with the guitar and start singing when Emerson gives them the cue that they came up with as brothers.
So it's the end of the date and Emerson and Y/N head to the beach where Emerson was gonna confess his feelings for Y/N but he was getting more nervous by the second so Remington and Sebastian were trying to reassure him that everything was gonna go the way he wanted it to go.
Emerson and Y/N arrive at the beach and the beach is beautifully decorated like Emerson wanted and then the boys were on the side giving encouraging signals to Emerson knowing Emerson has got this and that it's gonna go the way he wants it too.
"It's really pretty here" Y/N says as her and Emerson walk along the beach talking about anything and everything
"Yeah it is" Emerson says not taking his eyes off of Y/N because she looked so beautiful in the dress she was wearing.
"Why did you say that while looking at me?" Y/N says with a very confused look on her face.
"Uh no reason" Emerson says while looking away and blushing.
"No, tell me" Y/N yells being impatient in what Emerson meant by what he said.
"I may have feelings for you" Emerson looks at Y/N waiting for her response to him saying that and while blushing a little bit but being a little nervous at the same time.
"Oh" Y/N says not knowing what to say in that moment when Emerson confessed that he had feelings for her.
"It's okay if you don't-" Emerson waits for Y/N to response while they hold hands and while he nervously waits for her to say something.
"No, no that's not what I meant by 'oh'. I mean, I like you too." Y/N says and Emerson looks at her with a lot of love in his eyes.
"You do?" Emerson says with a surprised look on his face.
"Yeah... I do..." Y/N looks deep into Emerson's eyes and squeezes his hand in reassurance.
Emerson smiles and pushes Y/N's hair behind her ear while looking deep into her eyes with love and lust.
"Would you like to be my girlfriend?" Emerson asks while taking both of Y/N's hands into his own while the sun has set on the beach.
"I would love that" Y/N says with a big grin on her face and gets closer to Emerson and cuddles into him while Emerson puts his arms around her waist and brings her into his embrace.
Emerson and Y/N slowly share a kiss and kiss with passion and love while just enjoying each other's company and taking in the moment and just letting it sink in that they are officially together.
"how about we go back to the house? Watch some Netflix or something?" Emerson says as they head back to the car to go back home.
"I'd like that" Y/N says as her and Emerson talk about what just happened while on the way back home in the car.
They get back to their house that they share with Remington and Sebastian and Y/N starts getting worried about what Remington and Sebastian would think knowing that her and Emerson were dating and Emerson brought Y/N into the kitchen to talk to her with his hands in her hands for reassurance and comfort.
"Do you think Remington and Sebastian will mind us being together?" Y/N says in a concerned and worried tone in her voice and Emerson was doing his best to comfort her the best he could.
"They already know. They helped me with setting up the date." Emerson says while taking Y/N into his arms and stroking her hair in a loving way since he learned it was the one thing that calmed her down and relaxed her and Y/N started to calm down when Emerson reassured her that there was nothing to be worried about.
They went back into the living room and Remington and Sebastian were sitting on the living room couch on their phones while Emerson sends them a thumbs up and they silently cheer and congratulate them on them finally getting together.
Emerson and Y/n spend the rest of their night watching Netflix while cuddled into each other and sharing a few kisses here and there while cuddling with a blanket wrapped around the both of them and pepper appearing and somehow getting in between the two of them at one point during the movie.
A/N: hey y'all I know it's been a while since I published a story on here and I'm really sorry I just haven't had the motivation to write lately and I just got the inspiration back to write again so yeah hope y'all enjoy this story I wrote months ago but finally finished tonight
Also my bestie @Mady_Jenkins helped me write the end of this story and I changed a few things she did to make it fit with the storyline so it didn't throw it off too much so yeah love you bestie so fucking much
